I was completely alone behind the cold metal bars. I looked around but saw nothing but concrete. I look over to my left to see another cell.

"Hello?" I ask, curious.

No answer. Then, I hear a deep voice, a mans voice. He threw a younger man in the empty cell next to me.

As soon as he left, I finally spoke.

"Hello?" I asked, once again. I heard a quiet gasp.

"S-Sora?" The man stumbled. His voice was familiar.

"Jax!" I sad, pressing my face against the cold concrete wall. Not like it would make any difference.

It was silent for a moment, mostly because of the shock, but I didn't mind.

"We need to get out of here," I said.

"We?" He said. I couldn't tell if he was mocking me or being truthful. Then, the chuckle afterward gave it away.

I still joked with him, just to make him mad.

"Well, I am anyway," I said.

An older, muscular man came in front of me moments later and unlocked my cell.

"Solider?" He asked, strict.

"Yes?" I said, lost.

He put chains on my wrist and and pulled me down the hall.

The man dragged me to some sort of lab. All I looked at were the needles and bottles full of some odd liquid.

There was a woman there, she was thin, but she looked healthy.

The muscular man handed the chain to the woman and left.

"Sit," the woman said, releasing my wrists.

I sit in the lab chair, terrified.

"I'm Chris, I'll be your... Doctor," she said with a smirk.

Chris connected the needle and bottle from the other end of the room. Now, I had to run.

I was trapped in the lab. There was no window, and no unlocked door. Chris came up to me and whispered in my ear.

"I'm giving you one chance to find an exit. You have one minute," she said. I was a bit happy but a bit terrified at the same time.

There wasn't a way out. Chris looked at the vent as a hint. I ran to the vent and ripped open the bars.

I climbed in and I was out. I escaped.

I went through the maze and all I could see ahead was dust. Then, a dim light from the end. I found the exit.

I approached the other end, but this was screwed on. I looked out of it to see where I ended up. I saw Jax out of his cell with the keys in his hands.

Wow, smart. I thought to myself.

I banged on the metal, hoping he would look up, and he did.

"Sora?" He asked. I could tell he was confused.

"Shhh!" I said, pressing my finger to my lips.

He gave me that crooked Iknowsmile.

"Get me out of here," I whispered.

"Sorry. I gotta go," he said bolting off. I watched him in shock then sat up with a sigh.

"I hate him..." I mumbled to myself.

I then heard banging from behind me. I looked, hoping it was Jax, and it was.

"What the hell are you doing??" I yelled in a loud whisper.

"Getting out of here," he answered.

Jax began smashing the vent with a small wrench, leaving large dents.

"Be quiet!" I said, smacking the wrench out of his hands. He just picked back up and kept smashing the vent.

After about three minutes of incredibly annoying banging, he broke through the vent and jumped out and I followed.

"Smart idea," I admitted. He nodded and grabbed my arm, pulling me back to our cells. At first I was confused, but when I saw a gaurd come by, I knew what he was doing.

Jax hid the keys behind him and and looked down, he looked like he was about to cry.

"Soilder?" The man asked him.

"Yes sir," Jax responded as the cell door unlocked. I heard a small cling as the walked off. Curious, I looked through the bars and saw the keys that Jax had in his hands. As they left, I reached for the keys, and unlocked the cell door.

"Hey! Get back in there!" A guard yelled, running to me.

I bolted down the hall, my head throbbing with pain. As I reach a dead end, I get my fists ready. I didn't really want to fight him. To be honest, I felt like puking, but I didn't - I couldn't.

Just when the hot-headed man can inches away from me, I heard the bang of a gun, and the man was down. Behind him, was Jax. I sigh in relief and try to control my heavy breathing.

"You okay?" Jax asked, worry in his voice.

"I'm alive, aren't I?" I responded as I took the gun from his hands. "We don't have much time. The others will be looking for us both."

"The exit is down the hall to the left," Jax said. I just started at him like he was an idiot.

"Exit? Hell no. I'm not going through that again," I told him, as I rolled my eyes. "There has to be another way."

"Not really," Jax said, taking his gun back. "Unless we can figure out where the security exit is."

"That's it." I lead down the hall, hoping Jax would follow, but he didn't.

"They're going to find you if you walk like that," he said. I turned to look at him with my arms crossed.

"Got a problem with my walk?" I snapped.

"Yeah. You sound like a five year old running down the stairs."

"Are we going to waste our time here talking about my walk, or can we just go?" I snapped again. Jax just smirked and got behind me.

"You have a temper," he said, putting his arm around me.

"Take it a step back," I responded, take his arm off of me. "Focus."

We continued walking down the hallway, and for some reason, I walked slower like Jax said.

"Thank god," He whispered.

"Shhh!" I hit him in his gut and continued walking. I heard him stumble and chuckle but I refused to look at him. As we kept walking I heard an obnoxious beeping noise. It almost sounded like and alarm clock that never stopped. But that was no clock.

"Sora!" Jax pulled me down and covered me. The last thing I saw was red.
