My setting had once more changed, lovely. I turned away from the door, still panting, to find myself in an old dining room. I had seen a raven sitting on a desk in the corner, but decided not to bother it. I proceeded to put my hands on the old oak tablets feel it, I thought I had heard something. I shrugged it off and exited the dining room into a large living room. I couldn't put my finger on it, but something wasn't right and I didn't like it.

I heard the noise again, it sounded like someone was groaning in agony. I frowned at the thought of someone in pain and went to see if they were okay. I walked up the long staircase and looked around silently, trying to find this mystery room. I walked to the very end of the hallway and found there was one room I hadn't checked, the attic. I took a deep breath, knowing how this is how most people get the "bad ending" in a video game, and walked straight in.

I nearly fainted on the spot. The thing that had been in so much pain, was possibly the scariest thing I'd ever seen. It was a young, or what I assumed to be young, girl with long purple hair wearing a bright red dress and matching hair bow. That hadn't been it though, to top it all off she was missing both legs and both eyes. I might've died from terror. She had been looking straight at me with her eye sockets, she was aware of my presence and started crawling towards me, trying to say something I couldn't understand. I ran as fast as I could, but she was easily catching up to me. I was curious as to how she could match my pace, but I didn't want to turn around and ask. I had just slid down the stair's banister and was almost at the door when I tripped. The girl, who I had at this point realized who the man was warning me about, had slowed her pace and crawled in front of me. I had landed on my left leg and couldn't move on it any longer, it was almost seemingly paralyzed. I crawled backwards and hit a wall, I silently cried as she got closer to me.

Please,...help me

That was the first thought I had before I woke up this morning.
