Wandering Off

I closed my laptop, bored and confused as ever. I laid back on my bed and picked up the necklace I've worn around my neck since I was a baby, it was lapis lazuli in the shape of a tear drop. I never went anywhere without it. Well....that nor my cat ears. They aren't actual cat ears, that's just what everyone calls them because it is a black and red hat with cat ears on top if that makes sense.

I hide my necklace back in my night gown and decided it was time to change into day clothes. I went into my closet and came out wearing my favorite dress, which looked exactly like the one Aya wore in the game Mad Father, some striped stockings, my Mary Janes, obviously my lapis necklace, and my kitten hat. I felt like some sort of Lolita, but I honestly didn't care.

I then brushed my teeth and put on a bit of eyeliner and concealer with some black lipstick. I decided it was time for some adventuring, and that was exactly what I planned on doing. It's funny, this seemed a bit familiar. "Don't be silly," I told myself, "this is your everyday routine. Of course it would seem familiar." I shook my head, telling myself I was just crazy, and grabbed my cell phone before walking to my backyard.

My backyard lead straight into a forest. The only thing between that forest and myself, was our fence to keep our dogs from running away. I proceeded to climb over my fence and walk into it. I put my phone in my pocket and tugged on the strings of my hat to keep it from blowing off. It wasn't windy or anything, I was just paranoid.

I found my favorite place in the forest, my reading stump. In case it wasn't obvious, its the tree stump I liked to read on when I get bored and need some relaxation. Once I sat down on it, I began to get a weird sensation. This was familiar, I could've sworn it was. I quickly disregarded it though, thinking I was just paranoid something bad would happen.

I hadn't realized until later, was just how right I was to be afraid
