People wondered why he loved me so much. Why he was obsessed with me. Why he would risk his own life for me. They thought he owed me something, they thought I felt sorry for him because of his disease. The truth is I just loved him too much to care about what people felt about him. I watched as his eyebrows pulled together and as he bit his lip in concentration.

He scribbled vigorously on his canvas. I didn't know what he was drawing. Tins of empty paint were sprawled around his seat. I don't think he could through his artistic vision. It was very late and way past his time to sleep and he hadn't taken his medication. The room was dimly lit because because he had refused to change the lightbulbs a week ago. The blue walls were occupied by his many paintings, crumbled up pieces of paper spread out on his wooden desk, the rubbish bin overflowing, the tiled floor and the black rug looked dusty. I would have to vacuum his room later. Finally I cleared my throat sawing him my presense. His head shot up and he focused his attention on me. I waved at him and a huge grin spread across his face. His brown eyes still sparkled despite the horribly lit room. He placed his pencil down and stood up from seat.

His caramel skin seemed to glow in the light and when he reached me he pulled me into his defined chest, engulfing me in his masculine scent. He smelled light and crisp like mint. Placing a kiss on the top of my head he sighed. Compared to him I was just below his shoulder in height. I stretched up on my toes and pecked his lips then he put his finger under my chin bringing my face to his again. His lips connected to mine moving in sync. I wrapped my arms around his neck and bit his lip teasingly. A groan settled at the back of his throat.

"Don't tempt me Lizzie." He said in his deepened voice. He used to have a soft voice back in his teens but when he hit eighteen it turned into the sexiest thing ever. I for one loved it.

"Come lets go to bed." I said softly putting my hands onto his chest. He took one of the belts on my morning robe and twirled it around in his index finger. His jaw clenched and unclenched.

"So early?"

"It's 00:08 love." I put both my hands up his shirt feeling his chest and he groaned.

"Do I have to take my pills?" He whispered in a husky voice.

"Do you want to take em?" He stared at me and he shook his head. I tapped a finger on his nose and sighed.

"Then don't but tomorrow you have to."

"I love you."

"I love you too." I really did love this man. He fiddled with the ring on my finger whilst he still stared at me. Most people were afraid of Jaden but it wasn't his fault that he was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. It wasn't his fault he acted the way he did. When he had asked me to marry him two years ago in Paris I said yes before he even finished his sentence.

"So Mr Smith what are you gonna do? Just stand here?" A smile tugged on his lips but it never came.

"That's an option Mrs Smith." He said. I laughed and kissed his cheek before I turned the light off and closed the door.

"To bed now." I said pushing his heavy, muscular body to our bedroom. Jaden closed the door and removed his shirt and pants throwing them in the laundry basket. He jumped into bed with only his boxers while I removed my robe and got in next to him. Jaden put his leg over mine and wrapped his arms around my waist. I wanted to be this close to him. Nose to nose, nothing more nothing less.

"I love you always and forever Charlize." He whispered.

"I love you always and forever too Jaden." I said. I was already half asleep but I curled even closer to his body and soon I drifted into sleep.
