Niomi's POV:
"Welcome to my humble abode!" I say as I plop myself on the couch when we walk in. Killian kind of stares at certain things, particularly my almost-full wall of pictures. Most of them are my own pictures, of places I've been and found pretty, or places I want to go.
"You live here? It's....so....small?" he kind of asks, and I shrug, resting my head on the arm rest of the couch.
"I like it. Makes the world seem a bit smaller to me. And, when you're the only one living here, it's fine." My legs are stretched out, and I close my eyes, enjoying being at home.
"Aren't you going to at least make room for me?" Killian asks, and I crack one eyelid to look at him. He's giving me a pouty face, so I pull my legs up. He smiles to himself, then settles down on the opposite end of the couch. Just when he thinks he's won, I stick my legs back out and rest them on his crossed legs.
I give him a big, toothy grin, then throw my arm over my face.
"Ugh, I'm tired. Can we just have nap time?" I ask, and he chuckles. I lift my hand so I can gauge his reaction.
"Well, if you need to sleep, that's fine. I'm not really tired-" he starts, but I cut him off.
"Yay! I'll get blankets!" I squeal, running to my spare bedroom. I open the closet, take out a couple of my throw blankets, shut the door, then waddle back to the living room. I scooch back into my spot, then throw one blanket at Killian.
"Here. You get one, too." I say, then I spread my blanket over my legs, which are back in his lap. I pick up one of the quilted pillows from the floor by the couch and set it behind my head, then turn to face to couch.
"Do you want me to move? Or do you want to use the armchair?" I ask him, my eyes already feeling heavy.
"No, I'm fine. You just sleep." He says, resting his arms over my legs. I nod, then close my eyes. A minute later, I open them and turn back to him.
"Don't let me sleep for more than an hour, okay? If I sleep too much now, I won't sleep tonight..." I lead off, drifting off at last.

When I eventually open my eyes, it's starting to get dark outside. I sit up suddenly, then rub my eyes, looking around the room for a clock. I'm about to swing my legs out to get up, but something's got my legs in a hold. I blink a few times, then look down at the opposite end of the couch, where Killian is holding my lower calves in his hands. He's asleep, and I don't really want to wake him up, but we need to get up and do stuff.
I start to pull my legs away, but he holds on. I sigh, then reach over and give his shoulder a shake.
"Killian. Killian, we have to get up. Come on..." I say, shaking his shoulder a bit harder. All of a sudden, he sits up, and he opens his eyes.
"What? Oh, sorry. Is nap time over?" he asks, rubbing his eyes with one hand. I laugh quietly.
"Yeah, so come on. Get your lazy ass up." I say, pulling my legs away from him. I throw my blanket over his head, then jump up, off the couch.
"Catch me if you can! Time for a wake up game!" I say, then I run to my bedroom down the hall, and climb under the metal frame. I hear Killian laughing, and his footsteps come closer.
I cling to the wall, trying to make myself as little as possible. I hear him come into my room, and I can barely see the outline of his shadow against the white carpet. I hold my breath, and when the shadow disappears, I breathe a sigh of relieve.
That's when a pair of hands reaches under the bed and grabs my feet, which are a bit further out than my body. I shriek as Killian drags me out from under the bed, and I laugh as he pokes me in the sides, trying to tickle me.
"Stop! Stop, I'm gonna die!" I yell, and he eventually does. I breath heavily and I sit up, and he pulls me to my feet.
"Now, I thought you said we had things to do, and no time for silly games." he says, giving my a fake disapproving look. I just roll my eyes and grab his hand, pulling him down the hallway after me. When I get to the kitchen, I drop his hands, and I open the fridge.
I grab the left over Chinese food, which there is actually a lot of, and throw it on a couple plates.
"If you liked lunch, you're gonna love this." I say as the microwave beeps, and I take the hot plates out of the microwave. I set them on the island, and I hand him a fork. He takes a bit of the sweet and sour chicken, and he nods.
"It's good. I do like it." he says, and I smile, then dig into my own food.
