A Perfect Storm Nirvana Pearl Jam /Soundgarden /RHCP fanfiction

Chapter 2

             I convinced my new friend to go with me and Dani to watch Tony's band practice. I honestly wasn't too happy about going, but I wanted to spend some time with my best friend and my new friend. Kurt surprisingly agreed to go. Apparently he plays guitar and wants to check out some bands and different music.

             I couldn't drive. I mainly just walked everywhere, but Kurt agreed to take me there. Dani was going home with Tony so we are just going to meet them there. After the long school day ended, I needed to tell my mom I was going to be out for a while and pick up a jacket so Kurt drove me home.

             "Mom, I'm going with Dani to watch some band practice. I'll be home before 10." I said as I grabbed my flannel jacket and threw it on over my Queen shirt. I tightened the laces on my all black high tops and left. As I was exiting I heard my mom grunt from the other room. I stopped for a minute and sighed before closing the door behind me.

             "You ready?" Kurt questioned. I nodded and we were on our way.

              We pulled up to the address that Dani scribbled on my hand in magic marker. Lots of noise was coming from that house. We go out and met Dani, along with some other mysterious people, on the porch and went inside. This Anthony kid had a very nice house. We climbed the stairs and Dani lead us into what I assume was Tony's room. It was a big room. This bedroom was easily twice as big as my living room. In the room there were 3 different guitars, 2 basses, a drum kit, and 4 microphones. It seemed more like a party in Tony's room rather than just watching them practice. Everyone from school was in this kids house and probably everyone from a couple of other schools. We got pushed around and crowded into the room. As big as it was, there were lots more people than space in this house. Anthony came in and put his arm around Dani. Lots of other people came in behind him, but I didn't recognize any of them except for Tony. He was staring at me and Kurt with a look of- a look of disapproval.

             "I didn't know there was going to be so many people" Dani laughed. "Are you guys gonna play soon? I can't wait to hear my baby sing!" Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she reached up and pecked Anthony on the lips. He had his arms around his waist and smiled at her. They were actually sort of cute together.

             Kurt went off downstairs somewhere. He said seeing all these people getting all romantic made him kind of sick. Dani was occupied with Tony so I was all alone, like usual. It was now 9:00 pm and they still hadn't played a single song. The only music came from MTV which was on in just about every room in the house. This was more of a party than a band practice. Not even a party. It was just a bunch of people getting drunk and high and fucking and having orgies right in the middle of the room. This was not my niche. I decided to leave because I was bored out of my mind and I told my mom I would be home by 10. I found Kurt, but he was drunk and/or high so I thought my best bet was just to walk home, but boy was I wrong.

Authors Note: Sorry if this story sucks, something interesting is going to come up in the next chapter! And also I have such a great idea for when Pearl Jam and Soundgarden come into the story, but it won't be for a little bit longer.
