Ryder's P.O.V.

After being told everything by Regina I didn't know how to react to all the knowledge I just got. "How come I don't remember any of this?", I asked Regina , to which a look of guilt flashed on her always composed face and I knew she was responsible for my lack of memory of these events. To spare her the misery of admitting all of it I just nodded as to tell her I understood. She looked down never meeting my eyes and said," there's something more Ryder, but I'm not sure if I should tell you about it" , I sighed ," Regina if it concerns my life or anyone I care then you ought to tell me.", I said. She nodded and continued," after some years passed by I made the prophecy about this girl, Ariana right? Yea so I was curious as to what the prophecy had to do with our world after all I thought she was an ordinary human. So I searched her past by magical means. I found out something that if Eleanor would have found then the girl would be dead by now..." ,she gulped visibly. I gave her hand a squeeze urging her to go on. "She's Annie and Rodriquez's daughter... She's the angel princess and rightful heir to the throne." Now I was sure my jaw must be on the floor. It was too much. All this past history was too much to take in. How is this even possible?! Her biological mother is a human! She's a hybrid so how can she be the princess?!
One look at me and Regina seemed to figure out my internal battle n confusion. She sighed ," I'll show you rather than tell you about it" saying so she headed towards her desk where a crystal ball was kept and she sat down gesturing towards the chair opposite to her. I sat down and she began chanting spells I didn't know at all. The crystal ball started glowing. And mist was generated in it. The mist was taking shape of objects and soon I saw the angel queen Annie struggling to breathe lying on the floor of her room. The poison is killing her! The poison I gave.... I felt a lump rise in my throat. Shame,anger and guilt rose in my heart. But then an angelic figure appeared in front of her. I couldn't believe my eyes... It was none other than the goddess of white energy herself!!
