I was walking home after class ended, I decided to get barbecued meat as a snack as I walked towards the nearest training grounds. I sat down in front of a tall oak tree, I opened the small box of meat only to hear rustling in the bushes. "Hm?" "Bark ark!" A puppy? Akamaru! "Hi there cutie! Want one?" "Bark!" I handed the cute pup a stick of meat until "Akamaru where did ya run off too?!" Kiba! "Bark!" " there you are I've been looking everywhere for ya!" Akamaru whined lightly in apology "hi there my name is Sakura and you?" "Hm? Oh I'm Kiba and this is my best friend Akamaru, nice ta meet ya Sakura-chan" "want some barbecued meat?" Kiba smiled brightly as I offered him a stick "Thanks Sakura-chan!" "No problem Kiba-kun!" I smiled brightly at the duo.
Flash back
There were so many dead bodies lying everywhere, it was my break when I heard the familiar bark, of Akamaru " hey there buddy, where's your owner? Hmm?" " haha over here!" I laughed at Kiba childish facial expression "wanna play fetch with us Sakura?" "Haha you know I do" Akamaru barked happily as we played for a couple of hours until my break was over. "I'll see ya guys later, got to get back to work" "lameeee but alright see ya later!" Akamaru barked while Kiba waved happily as I bid them farewell, I couldn't help but laugh as I walked away.
Flashback over
"Neh Sakura earth to Sakura! Oi!" "Huh" " ya alright ya spaced out for a bit?" "Hmm I did? Haha it's nothin'!
The three of us played fetch for the remainder of the day until sun down "see ya tomorrow Sakura!" "See ya later Kiba-kun, Akamaru see ya in class!" "Bark!" I petted Akamaru one last time before leaving the training grounds just like the old days I smiled happily as I walked home.
