I wake up with eight, unread text messages. Unlocking my phone, I see three are from Elliot, four are from Jasper, and one is from Sophia.
'Elliot: Grayson, where are you?'
'Elliot: Grayson, answer back!'
'Elliot: Are you okay? Answer me!'
'Jasss: Yo, Gray? I didn't see you at the party! Where'd you go?'
'Jasss: Gray, I know you have two perfectly fine thumbs. You can text me back.'
'Jasss: Oh, shit. Please tell me you didn't get arrested.'
'Sophia: Giiiiiiirrrrrl! Where did youu go? We wereee dancing!'
I laugh at Sophia's, knowing she was most likely drunk texting me. I answer each one of them back, and tell them I got home safely. I didn't tell them about Giovonni or Luciano, simply because I was very confused about the situation myself.
I get up, and find Mom watching TV.
"How was the party?" She asks me, and I sit down next to her.
"It was a lot of fun. I'm glad I went," I said truthfully.
"Do you have a headache?" Mom asks, and I look at her curiously.
"No, why?" I ask, and she gives me a wicked smile.
"Normally after you drink, you get a headache." She says in a matter of fact tone. My eyes bug out and she lets out a laugh.
"Grayson, I'm a mom. I know everything," Mom smiles, and turns her attention back to the TV. I shake my head and smile at her.
"Just be careful, alright?" She says, looking into my eyes. Her eyes are almost pleading with me, and I wonder why. But, then I remember. Dad always had a problem with alcohol, and she never liked it.
"I will, Mom, don't worry," I said smiling. She returned it, and then I see her face turn into a surprise.
"Honey! You've got a two weeks before you start school!" She says.
"Don't worry, Mom. I got everything I need. I can reuse some of the stuff from last year," I say, calming her down. She relaxes, and we continued watching TV.

The two weeks came by quickly, and all of a sudden, I'm waking up at 6 am, on the morning of the first day of my junior year. I'm not too nervous, since I have some friends, but still the thought of going to a whole new school makes me worried. I shrug it off, and head to the shower.
I wash my hair, shave my legs, and scrub my body with green apple scented body wash. Stepping out, I wrap the towel around my hair, and dry myself off. I brush my teeth, and use some mint mouthwash. I go back to my room, and turn on some music to listen too. 'Basic Space' by The xx comes on. Oo, this is mah jamm. Okay I need to stop.
I go to my closet, and find something to wear. Okay, what to wear what to wear. This is complicated.
Finally, for what seemed like hours, I finally chose something decent. I decide on a light pink transparent tank top, and light wash, high waisted skinny jeans. Putting on my underwear and bra, I also slip on a nude bandeau.
Before I put on the clothes, I start to put on makeup. After covering my face with foundation, I put on some silver eyeshadow, but not too much. I don't want to look like a prostitute. I try to do wing out my eyeliner, but it didn't work out as I planned. It still looked good though, so I left it. I put on mascara, and then some nude lipstick.
I slip on my clothes, and decide to tuck in the shirt, but only a little bit. I think it looks better with the high waisted jeans. I slip on my gold, arrow bracelet, and plain, gold ring that has a heart on it.
