Racing Is A Drug: Re-Unite The Family [COMPLETE]

Chapter One

"Here we are" I said as I dumped my bags on the floor. I unlocked the door to my apartment and threw the bags in. I was surprised I still had it and it wasn't on the market. Everyone followed on in and dropped their bags also.

"Where's the others?" Katie asked

"They don't live here, we all lived at Fez's" I reminded her. She nodded in realization.

"Fez's first?" Jayden asked. I nodded and we headed back out to the cars.

Me, my brother, Tyler, his girlfriend, Katie and my boyfriend, Jayden had all come back to Califonia to restart our lives with our family. I was just praying they were still here.

We pulled up at Fez's and there was music blaring out the place. I walked in first followed by Tyler then Katie and finally Jayden. Fez looked up from his car and a huge smile crossed his face. He dropped his wrentch and flung his arm round me.

"Where the hell have you been! You just left us and we were like what? And then we was all-"

"Shut up! I'm here now aren't I?" I cut in. He sighed and nodded.

"Oh, who are your friends?" He asked, suddenly realizing that they're here.

"My brother, Tyler and his girlfriend Katie" I tell him then I notice Jayden hadn't come in. "I.. Er.. Left something in the car, be right back" I told them and headed back out to find Jayden. When I found him he was proped up againest the door round the corner from the entrance.

"The door's that way" I pointed back to where I'd just come from.

"Shut up, Elena, I can't go in there, he hates me and he seemed so happy to see you, I don't wanna mess that up as well" he snapped. I sighed

"You're coming in there whether you like it or not" I said and interlocked his fingers with mine. He groaned but let me take him back to the others. I took a deep breath then walked in with Jayden in hand. Fez's smile fades when he sees me with Jayden.

"Get out, I'm not having you in here" he snapped and walked around his car.

"Oh, come on Fez" I pleaded

"No way, not after what he did to you and the rest of us for that matter" he carried on. I sighed

"Alright but I want you to know that I've forgiven Jayden for what happened, I just hope you can too" I told him and we left without another word.

"What's going on, Fez?" I heard a voice I recognized. I whipped round to see Dom and Tyrone stood at the top of the stairs. I was happy to see them but I had to stay by Jayden. I got back in the car and I did feel bad for just ignoring them but I had to sort it out with everyone not just one or two people.

"We could try Kaylees?" I suggested. He shook his head

"No way, she wouldn't see me dead" he told me. I groaned

"Stop feeling sorry for yourself and sort this out! I swear to god if you don't take risks then you're always gonna be stuck in the same place" I half ranted. He nodded.

"Fine, we'll try Kaylees" he muttered. I called Tyler and told him to follow me. We then drove to Kaylees.

I knocked and waited with Jaydens hand in mine again. We were stood there for a while and there was still no answer.

"She's not here, let's just go" Jayden turned around and tried to walk back to the car. I pulled his arm back and he stood next to me again. He groaned. The door swung open and to my surprise, Luke was the one who answered. His face lit up when he saw me. I smiled at him and he hugged me.

"So you're back" he tried to hide his excitement. I smiled. His eyes fell on Jayden and he nodded once at him.

"This is Tyler, my brother and his girlfriend, Katie" I told him. He smiled at them

"Who is it, babe?" Kaylee. She stood next to Luke and scanned the crowd outside her house. "Holy shit, Elena" she said and flung her arms round me. I smiled. Her eyes then landed on Jayden and the constant bubbly smile she always wheres vanishes.

"Why's he here?" She asked spitefully.

"Kaylee, please-" I tried

"-No, not now Elena" she interupts. I sigh.

"He's your brother Kaylee, give him a chance" I plead but we leave. We drive back to the apartment in silence and head in. We sit on the couch and just stare at the floor. I felt really flat. I was so happy to see the guys again and for them to just shut us out like we weren't shit, that's what really hurt.

"You guys are welcome to sleep in my room, we'll bunk on the sofas" I tell Tyler and Katie. They nod and head to my room. I sigh and let my head fall onto Jaydens chest.

"Sorry" he barely whispers. I look up at him

"You have nothing to be sorry for, we'll figure it out, I promise" I tell him. He stares at me for a moment then nods. He wraps his arm round me and kisses my forehead. Slowly, I drift of to sleep.
