Sarah's POV
Today is Janurary 27, 2015.
Jayen and I have become the best of friends and swore to keep each other safe and sound.
"Bye, honey! Be safe out there! The city is packed!"
"Bye!"
I told mum and dad as I head out of the door and onto my bicycle. My typical outfit for the day was the same black Adidas jacket, black SVMPAA uniform, black Vans shoes, and red backpack perched right behind me, my shoulders holding them up.
I don't know why, but I'm in the mood to wear almost all black.
I start pedaling my way to school and on the way, I see Jayen on the opposite street, going to the school.
"Jayen!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as I pedaled harder to match his walking pace.
He turned to me and stopped, making me do the same thing with my bicycle. Jayen smiled at me and waved, then he flashed out his phone and his fingers goes pressing. My phone buzzed a moment later, and I fished my phone out, unlocking the password and going to the message app and clicking on Jayen's name.
"Hey Sarah. :)"
My heart skipped a beat. Gathering my breath, I typed fast. Why is he so damn attractive?!
Why the fuck he looks like God had just made the perfect human face?!
'Hey Jayen.'
"Good morning."
'Good morning to you too.' I replied.
"Look up."
Looking up, I see him motioning to keep going to school. I nodded at him and put my phone back in my pants pocket. Getting on my bicycle again, I pedaled faster on the sidewalk, so I can meet him before he gets to school.
"Be careful!" Jayen screams with worry, before running at the same pace my bicycle is going.
"What?!" I scream back, focusing on the road ahead of me.
I didn't know what happen after that. All I know is that I heard glass shattering, people shouting all kinds of nonsense around me, Jayen screaming my name and crying, minutes later, the ambulance came by. It's loud noises hurting my ears.
"You'll be okay. Hang in there."
His voice.
I desperately wanted to see him, but I couldn't open my eyes, I couldn't talk, or move my body. I wanted to tell him that I was fine.
"I need....you... Jayen.." I managed to get my voice talking.
But before I could hear his response, my brain shuts down and I could hear monitors beeping rapidly.
Was I.... Dead?
