Jayen's POV
It's been an hour and half already. I looked down at her with pleading and miserable eyes as her eyes are closed and lips are turning blue.
"Please don't..... Don't leave me." I sobbed, holding her hand.
"Don't you dare leave me. If you leave me, I don't know what might happen to me after. So don't even think about slipping away from me...... I love you. I love you, Sarah." I held her hand, tears streaming like a river, kissing her lips and forehead, hoping she'll come back alive.
"There's never a day where I don't miss you. There's never a day when I don't think about you. There's never a day when I don't regret meeting you." I whispered as soon as we got to the hospital.
"Please come back to me. I need you more than ever."
"Sir, we must take her to the emergency room. Could you please step aside?" A paramedic instructed as they took her and her gurney out onto the ground and immediately but carefully rolled her inside the hospital.I followed them, praying to God that she doesn't die.
A doctor came and used his tiny flashlight, opening her eyes a bit and then instructing the nurses and doctors around them about what to do.
I watched worried as they took orders and ran straight to the emergency room with Sarah lying in the gurney, tears threatening to fall.
"I'll see you again........ Sarah, my love, I'll see you soon. Don't worry, I'll be here with you when you wake up." I told myself, directly to Sarah, wishing she'll wake up after hearing my voice.
I went to the front center and signed the patient and guardian forms, finally starting to cry when I get back to my chair.
"I need you..... Please, don't leave me like this.." I mumbled into my hands, crying.
Ever since I met her, I stopped self-harming myself. Every day, I know that the only way she could meet me again was to come to New York. My former wrecked silver home. The one home my parents wanted to not leave.
--In Sarah's hospital room--
I held her hand after the doctors and nurses left, my hand shaking with fear.
"I'll see you there. Don't assume I left you. Just know, that one day, you'll see me. Yeah? You will see me. I promise." I kissed her hand gently and laid my head down, resting by her and sleep consumes me.
Sarah's POV
I heard everything. Everything he said to me. Struggling to wake up, I felt completely broken down.
"DON'T FUCKING LEAVE ME! NO! I WON'T ALLOW THAT!" I wanted to scream but couldn't.
How will I meet you there?
Where the fuck are you talking about, Jayen?
I willed my body to move but it slipped away into hibernation. I let one tear stream down from my closed eyes.
"What is going to happen to us if you mean that?"
Jayen, I wish you would tell me.
