Stuck On Friendship.

Sat, Nov 10th.

Claire was looking through Dylan’s facebook and all she saw were pictures of him and Tyler partying, Michelle was in the pictures too and Jill. Dylan had his relationship status hidden so she couldn’t really see if he was in a relationship or not, but he should have pictures if he already had a girlfriend, right? Claire closed her laptop and shook her head.

-Cheer up Claire, we have a signing in three minutes –Danielle said smiling.

-Alright –she nodded.

All of them sat in a table, they already had an EP out that’s been on sale for a month now, the girls thought it would be fun to do a signing and take some pictures with the little fanbase they had, they knew it wasn’t that big but that’s exactly why they wanted to give them a smile.

-Hi –Claire smiled to a girl.

-Im Tiffany I really love your voice! –the girl said smiling.

-Thank you so much –Claire signed her ep.

-I also want to say that I really like how honest your lyrics are, they’re so deep… You can see you’ve been through those things and you don’t just sing about it –she had a hopeful look.

-I… yes… -Claire nodded.

-And about “Stuck On Friendship” which is one of my favorites, if you haven’t told your friend how you feel yet… you should! –she said smiling, walking towards Danielle.

-Right… -I said looking down.

-Hi! –another girl said smiling.

-Oh hey there, what’s your name? –Claire asked signing her ep.

They kept doing that for the whole afternoon, Claire was impressed at how people treated her and the girls, she never thought she would be in this position.

-Only 5 songs out and we already have our tiny little fanbase –Danielle said excited.

-And they already appreciate our work… woah –Claire said speechless.

Sun, Nov 11th.

-Hey dude isn’t this Claire’s band?! –Tyler said reaching a CD from a girl who was giving them away outside the mall.

-Hearts Out is a band from California, they’re currently on tour with Go Radio! Go see them live on Sat 24th at the House Of Blues!

-This is definitely Claire’s band –Tyler said looking at the EP.

-This is their ep? –Dylan asked confused.

-Sure it is, hey you why are you giving them away? –Tyler asked the girl.

-Me? I’m just spreading their music! I talked to one of the girls from the band and she said I could give their EP’s away for people to hear their music –she smiled.

-Which one from the band? –Dylan asked interested.

-Danielle, the guitarist! She’s really nice –the girl said.

-Oh… I don’t know her –Dylan said with a sigh.

-Well I have to get back to what I was doing, have a nice day –the girl said walking around.

-Are you going to listen to it? –Tyler asked intrigued.

-Maybe… I haven’t heard anything by her to be honest –Dylan giggled.

-Really? What about the song she played at the festival?

-Except that one, yes that’s the only thing I’ve heard her playing and singing –he smiled.

-You should probably listen to the EP –Tyler said reading the booklet- “All lyrics written by Claire Lavon” this is interesting –Tyler teased.

-What? Really? –Dylan said impressed.

-Yeah well we should—

-I’ll listen to it then –Dylan said interrupting Tyler and running away towards his home.

-Alright… I guess I’ll buy the tickets… yeah –Tyler shook his head and walked towards The House Of Blues.

Dylan got home and ran upstairs to his room, he put the EP on his laptop and turned the volume up, he then took the booklet and opened it.

The first song started to play; it was some sort of Pop Punk style, really catchy.

He smiled through the five songs, but one of them caught his attention more than the rest. “Stuck On Friendship” was the slow song from the EP. He smiled and rolled to one side of the bed.

-She has such a beautiful voice –he thought to himself, still smiling.
