Remember Me?

Chapter 10

A rock flew through the window. The glass window shattered into tiny bits of glass. They look like tiny diamonds on the floor, sparkling.

There was yelling of a crowd. "Witches! Demons! Monsters!", the crowd yelled. "Derek how are we suppose to leave now?", I asked.

I was scared now, I didn't know what to do or think anymore. "We are going to have to run into the woods.", Derek said. Another rock went through a window.

I tried to see through the unbroken windows. The crowd had torches and pitchforks. They had flipped the carriage to the side and set it on fire.

The horse was going crazy and tried to defend itself. One guy unhooked the horse and let it free. I wish they would do that to us. So I guess we are going to really run.

But I haven't learned to control or try my abilities as a vampire. Derek looked at me. "Today you are going to try them darling.", he said. Derek's mother was saying something to her husband.

Then she nod her head to Derek and the rest of us. "Why did she nod her head?", I asked not prepared to what was about to happen.

Derek grabbed me by my waist and pulled me to front door. I saw the angry towns people looking at us like if they wanted to kill us.

Everything went slow motion, Derek ran as fast as he can. I turned my head towards the family and saw how fast they were running. They ran like the wind.

We got passed them and the towns people didn't realize that we were gone already. Everything went back to normal. Derek still had a hold of me and running towards the woods.

The wind was hitting my face and my dress. The trees passed us fast it didn't look like if there was trees. Once it look like we were far away from the village possible, they stopped and Derek let me go.

"They are going to kept chasing us we can't stop now!", Victoria yelled. "We are far away from them Victoria calm down.",Adam said.

"Why should I, none of this would of happened if she!..",Victoria pointed at me with anger,"...wouldn't have turned into a vampire."

"Victoria I'm the one that turned her, we went through his already. If your going to blame her, you blame me first. Everything is my fault okay! Just let me handle this."Derek said in anger.

His eyes turned blood red went he said that to Victoria. He looked at me and his eyes turned back to his normal eyes.

"It's okay. Ill take care of you I just need to teach you how to run like a vampire.", Derek said. I nodded my head and his family just watched.

"Since we are going to Virginia maybe we should get going Aunt Lucy.", Alice said. "Yes, how about we go and Derek and his fiancé could catch up?", Victoria said.

"Yes we should. Derek are you okay with that?", Derek's mother ,Lucy, said. "I'm okay with that I know the route to Alice's farmhouse.", Derek said. "Okay then very well, we will meet again soon.", Edward said.

"Bye son ill see you at the farmhouse soon.",Derek's father Peter said. Derek nod his head and said bye. They took off in a rush. I could see them anymore.

"So it me and you beautiful.", Derek said sweetly. I giggled. "So I'm going to teach you how to run like a vampire. It's quite easy just run and there you go.", he said.

"If it so easy how come you were holding me back there?", I questioned. "You didn't expect we were to do it that's why. And you haven't gotten your mind reading abilities.", he said.

"Oh but will I learn soon?", I asked. He nodded, "Okay try to run." I did as he said, I ran. When I ran I hit myself against a tree.

"Darling are you okay?",he asked. He pick me up from the ground. "I'm okay. I just got to look out for trees.", I said wiping my dress down.

He laughed and said, "Yes don't look down look up. Try again." I though for a second then ran. I was focus this time. I ran and I felt like I was flying.

Derek smirked and ran to catch up to me. I turned to see if he was behind me and he ran faster than me. I laughed and tried to run faster but I couldn't I was getting tried.

I felt dizzy. "Derek?!?", I tried to yell. I grabbed on to the tree. "Abigail!", he yelled. I heard him come towards me. He grabbed me, "Abigail are you okay?"

"I-I-I fee-eel-l-l-l d-d-d-i", I tried to finish but my throat was dry. My throat burned like if it was fire. I was thirsty. "Abigail does your throat hurt?", he said trying to read my mind.

I nod my head. "Okay um",he looked around the woods. I fell to the ground, my throat got dryer and burned more. I couldn't really breathe. "Here drink from me.", he said.

I heard a vein rip and he put his wrist against my mouth. I drink it, I didn't want to but I wanted to live and make the pain go away. I drink more and more. I got up from the ground and stopped drinking from him.

I focused on his neck, it looked so tasty. I felt like if I need more blood. "More",I whispered between my teeth. I pulled Derek toward me and my mouth reached his neck.

I stuck out fangs, with felt so good, and I started to suck his blood. "Abigail that's enough.", Derek said. I just kept on and on.

Derek got ahold of me and pushed me against the tree. He lifted my head so I would stop. I didn't want to stop. "Abigail stop or your going to regret it.", he said.

I didn't listen, I want to suck him dry, even though he was a vampire. He gabbed my neck and twisted it. I fell to the ground. I could think or move. Then darkness fell around me....

I know I said that I had more for this chapter but I guess you all are going to have to wait. Sorry. And I know it's short chapter.
