*Phil's POV*
Stiletto's friend Lil' Mama (Lucy) had approached me a couple days ago telling me that Stiletto was in a bad relationship and she knew that I knew Jake and she had plead that I'd do something about it.
I know Jake.
He has a history of hurting women and being locked up in jail, he has an amazing lawyer so he's never in for long. But I know what he does and no girl deserves that.
I had to meet up with Stiletto and we spoke and she finally came around to the idea of breaking up with him, but she said I had to enlist Dan as well.
NOT FOR OBSESSIVE REASONS.
But because she thought Dan was more likely to hit someone if needed.
True.
So that's how I ended up in Stilettos shared apartment with Jake.
Dan is in the corner, on his phone.
Stiletto is packing all of her belongings.
And I'm just sitting on the couch.
"Jake should be here soon." Stiletto says and returns to packing, Dan puts away his phone and sits next to me.
Our arms brush and it send tingles down my spine.
I uh kinda have a crush on Dan. I have for a couple years. I would have asked him out yet he's so straight so I haven't. And plus I have no courage to do something like that.
We hear the door unlock and Dan jumps up, most likely out of nerves.
Stiletto freezes and all the blood drains out of her face.
"Phil I can't do this." She says as Jake walks in.
"Dan! Phil! What are you guy doing here??" Jake asks going to hug Dan.
Before we can say anything Stiletto jumps over and hugs Jake.
"I asked them here." She says.
Jake locks eyes with her and says "Why?"
"Because they are my friends and I needed support tonight." She says standing up straight. When she's not slouching she's actually as tall as him.
"Why do you need support, I'm your support Cass." Jake says.
"Not right now, Jake." She says and backs up.
"I wanna break up." Stiletto says.
"No." Jake says pulling her towards him.
"You don't want to do this trust me." He says.
I stand up and stand behind Stiletto.
"Yes. Jake I don't love you. I never did. I'm leaving." She says and moves to grab her bags.
In a swift motion Jake slaps her. Stiletto falls backwards and hits the couch.
"Hey!" I say blocking him from hitting her again.
"Phil I'm sorry." Jake says and moves to punch me.
"DON'T YOU DARE." Dan yells and jumps in front of me.
Jake punches him in the mouth and Dan falls back on me.
Then I do something I've never done.
As I lay Dan down I turn around and punch Jake.
"Don't ever hit Dan again. Or Stiletto. Get out." I say.
Jake steps forwards and pushes me.
"What you gunna do huh Philly?" He says and pushes me again.
Dan slides over from me when Jake doesn't notice.
He crawls behind him and I shove him back, Jake trips on Dan and hits his head on the tiles.
"Is he knocked out?" Stiletto asks from the back of the couch.
"Not for long." I say and Dan and I each grab a bag of hers and head towards Lucy's.
