*Dan's POV*

We are walking back from dropping Stiletto off at Lucy's when Phil asks me the question I know is burning inside him.

"Dan..you took a punch for me, why?" Phil asks and pulls my arm so I stop walking.

"Because Phil you didn't deserve to be hit, I couldn't let you be hurt." I answer.

"Well thanks." Phil says and pulls me in for a hug.

"Hey no problem." I say hugging him back.

Neither of us let go for a while, it could have been a ten second hug or a ten minute hug. I didn't really keep track of time I was mainly just crushing Phil, I just really like Phil's hugs.

"Dan are you alright? You nearly killed me with that hug." Phil asks when we pull apart.

"Uhh.. Yeah no I'm fine everything's fine." I say looking at our feet so he can't see me blushing.

"Dan. I can tell that somethings wrong." Phil says pulling my head up to look at him.

"Phil it's honestly nothing. Just a lot on my mind." I say forcing a smile.

"Haha I guess Jake did a little damage with that punch." Phil says, I can see he's trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah Phil-" I start to say when rain starts to hit us.

In ten seconds we are both soaking wet and it's a downpour.

"We should get home!!" Phil yells and we start walking.

After a couple minutes the rain slows down and it's just trickling.

"Crazy London weather." Phil says.

"So Dan what were you saying?" Phil asks me as we get to the door of our apartment building.

I turn to him and see the raindrops falling down his hair, his bright blue eyes look even bluer with the rain, and how he just looks so Phil..there's really no other word to describe him.

And I kiss him.

I lean forwards and cup his cheek and kiss him.

...And for a split second I think he kisses me back.
