The Guardian Angel

Chapter 1: The Golden Mut

One snowy winter day there was a large golden retriever named, Copper. He was running away from home while holding a white soft crumpled piece of paper. The paper had the most adorable words on it ever. He was running to give the letter to what he thought was the most beautiful boxer in the world. Her name was Bell and she was very elegant to him because she made his heart race even though they never actually spoken to one another.

Copper knew she would never accept his golden fur and floppy ears. That did not stop Copper from trying to deliver the letter to the girl of his dreams. Bell read Copper's letters and at the end of the letter it said "from your pup." She did not know who it was because well she has never seen any other pups. Copper got so upset and down on himself one day because he felt so insecure about her not accepting him.

He walked up the wet stairs of her house and rang the doorbell with his nose. She came out of the doggy door and said "well who are you my cute little pup." Copper started to wag his tail and said, "I'm Copper and I think you are very beautiful Bell." Bell looked into Copper's eyes that were two different colors. One eye was blue and another one was light brown. They both started to wag there tails and started to chase after each other in the yard.

Copper had no idea that she was flirting with him he just got really happy really fast. Bells owners came outside and called her in the house so she had to go, leaving Copper behind. Copper had never felt so happy in his life and he started to prance home like a royal king. He said to himself "maybe my letter really paid off." At that time Bell was in her dog bed thinking about Copper and his smile and his golden soft fur. She felt as happy as he did and they both enjoyed seeing each other that day.

Later that night Copper snuck out of his doggy door to go see Bell. Bell heard scratching at the door so she went to go see where the noise was coming from. Bell Saw that it was Copper with.. Roses in his mouth with a sign that said "will you go out with me?" Copper gave the roses to Bell and she started to wag her tail really fast. Bell said, "thank you so much my heart is beating so fast right now and to answer you it is yes." She kissed Copper on his nose and his tail started to wag and they just started to run after each other.

Copper felt complete when she was with him and she felt complete with him. They promised to be with each other forever and always. Copper was a good campanian and so was Bell. They never left each others side. They were so in love. Copper and Bell went everywhere together, they went to the mall and to the park, they even went to the movies. Copper loved to watch movies and to bark at the scenes he really liked. Most of all whenever she kissed him he started to howl and howl. She loved the sound of him doing that it made her so happy to know that he was happy.

They never had a fight and they would wrestle all the time. His life with her was perfect,nothing could ever break the love. Every night they would snuggle up close to each other and say forever and always. As they were taking a walk in the woods they came across an angry wolf. The wolf snarled and showed his extremely sharp teeth. Copper told Bell she needed to go home.  Coppers hair stood up and he started to growl. Bell said no and the wolf went to attack her.

Copper jumped into action immediately. The wolf started a big fight with Copper now. Copper bit the wolf's neck and the wolf bit Coppers foot. Copper could not run nor jump. So he just kept fighting to keep his girl safe. As the wolf said "your next Bell." Copper sprang up with rage and started to attack the wolf. The wolf was hurt bad and started to crawl away and said, "I'll be back and maybe with my friends you golden mut!"

Copper needed help to get back to the house. As he was laying in the leaves Bell snuggled up to him and said "forever and always." Copper said "yes, forever and always, and don't worry I won't die off." Later that night when they got back to the house Bell said "you would of died protecting me."  Copper said "of course I would my love." She kissed him and he howled like he usually does, but this time it was stronger than ever. Copper needed to rest so they slept through the night. The morning came and Copper was awake and eating breakfast looking like he healed over night.

She had never seen Copper so calm and quiet before. Bell said, "oh Copper what's wrong darling." Copper looked at her and smiled and said, "nothing dear I'm just very sore and tired." As Copper went into the house he came out and said "would you like to travel to the North Pole with me?" Bell looked confused but she had always wanted to see what is what like there so she answered with "yes my handsome prince I will go anywhere with you." Copper smiled and started to wag his tail and said "well then let's start to head out beautiful." Copper was so excited to start this new journey to the North Pole with his beautiful girlfriend Bell. Bell looked at Copper and said, "promise me no wolf or monster will get me." Copper smiled and said, "I will always protect you, no one will ever get you Bell." She felt safe with Copper because she knew that nothing would hurt her.
