Chapter 3: Angel Of The Night

Copper and his family were going back to Golden city. Bell  said to Copper " Oh Copper this is amazing, we started a real family." It's been three months since they were away from Golden city. Copper was really excited to go back and Bell was actually not so excited. Copper noticed that she was quiet and he sighed and asked "Are you sad that we are leaving Hawaii." Bell looked at Copper with a tear in her eye about to drop and said "yes i really liked it their." The cargo plane was about to take off to Golden city. Coppers family boarded the plane and Copper said "don't worry we will be fine."

Bell snuggled up to Copper and Angel. Copper lifted his head and looked at his family and started to think of all the parties and family get together's they could have. The plane was high in the air and on its way to Golden City. The cargo doors were starting to open and Angel started to slip away down the floor. The plane was still in the air and Angel fell off the cargo plane. Coppers head popped up immediately knowing something was wrong. Copper ran down towards the door and jumped out. Flying down with his fur and floppy ears dancing in the wind he grabbed Angel right before he hit the water.

Copper opened his golden wings and a halo appeared over his head. Angel was only a baby still so anything he seen could be a dream. Coppers golden wings were so bright and golden that it was blinding. Copper started to pick up speed to get up to the cargo doors. Angel began to open his eyes even more. Copper had him on the cargo door and slid him into his mother's arms. Bell opened her eyes and by that time Copper had his wings back in.

Copper said to himself " that was a close call." Bell almost saw that Copper was an angel but not just a regular angel. He was a golden angel that was chosen to be the strongest of all. Copper really felt bad that he had to hide it from bell but he had to because she can't find out right now. Copper  laid on the top of the dog crates and Angel came over and said "dad are you an angel because I saw your wings."

Copper laughed and said "son i think that was a very interesting dream you had, why don't you come up here and sleep with me for the night." Angel hoped up with his dad and fell asleep for the rest of the long cargo ride. Eight hours passed and Copper woke up his family so they wouldn't get caught. Copper let out a chicken out of the crate and it distracted the guards so they could get out.Angel was walking in the middle of Copper and Bell trying to keep up with them.

They got back to the barn house and Copper sprinted towards the doors and saw his fluffy bed. Copper loved that fluffy bed and Angel wanted to lay in it also. Copper said to Angel "son this is your new bed that i'm giving to you." Copper heard a loud bang and it sounded like a lighting bolt struck the ground but he saw a hole in the barn roof. Copper said " Bell keep Angel in the house and hide."

Copper ran across the golden flaky field with bright yellow corn growing.  Copper got in the barn and heard a dark voice say, " the great golden angel of war and love." Copper said "show yourself now i command you!" A dark great demon wolf came down with the darkest wings Copper has ever seen. Copper said "leave now and you will still have your pride to carry Luther." Luther denied him and flew into the house and grabbed Angel and flew back out.

Copper's heart dropped into his gut and he said "drop him now Luther and i won't take your pride and Ur wings." Luther called Copper pathetic and that he could never have a normal dog's life. Luther said "you will never be normal Copper Your fur is actual gold and other dogs will find out the truth soon." Copper told Luther to let Angel go because that his only son and he will do anything to keep him safe. Luther flew up into the sky and Copper went up after him.

Copper's golden wings were helping him catch up to Luther faster than ever because he was mad and furious. Luther landed on the top of the immortal bridge of time and dropped Angel on the bridge. Copper got up on the bridge and attacked Luther with a strong Lunge towards him. Luther disappeared in mid air while they were falling. Luther was up on the bridge again. Copper looked up and flew back up to try again to save his son.

Luther told Copper that he will never win this fight on the immortal bridge. Copper responded back with rage and his wings now had fiery gold flames coming of them. Luther was confused and said "oh you got promoted by yourself from your anger." Luther did not seem scared but Copper was looking straight into his eyes. Copper sprinted towards Luther and hit him with the side of his right wing with golden flames on it.

Luther flew back and hit the portal gate. Bell was at home wondering and panicking where her son and husband were. She was so scared she almost started to throw up. Luther said to Copper "after i'm done with your son i'll go after your wife." Copper was filled with even more rage and now and he was about to unleash his fury. Copper was about to figure out how he could stop Luther even when he teleaported.

Copper heard his son Angel scream and Copper said "son daddy's here he will protect you." Angel calmed down and said "dad watch out!" Copper looked immediately and flew back and almost fell off the bridge. Coppers hair darkened and his wings got really tight. Copper sprinted towards Luther and tackled him off the bridge. Luther's  dark wings couldn't stop the force of gravity and Coppers force pushing him down. Copper bit Luther's neck and then his chest then kicked him with all his force leaving Luther striking the ground and Copper flew back up to get Angel. Angle looked at his dad and said "you're really an angel dad a golden one too."

Copper said to Angel "yes son I'm your guardian angel." Angel smiled at Copper and with frightened eyes he said " dad Luther's  still alive!" Copper was confused so he said " i saw you die,there's no way you could be alive." Luther said to Copper "your wife killed my son and you bit his neck, and now i'm gonna kill you." Copper understood now of how that wolf could knock him down and hurt him so much.

Copper apologized but Luther denied it because Copper said " we had to put him down because he was going to kill us.'' Luther said "yes and now i am gonna finish his job starting with your wife." Luther zipped down and zipped back up in a flash. Copper turned his back and in the back of him he heard a sweet soft voice from behind him. "Copper.. is that you,'' Bell said. Copper did not answer but flew up super fast and used the flames on his wings to hit Luther off the bridge and began to fall again.

Copper bit and broke Luther's  left wing. A strong yelp came out of Luther's  voice and now a dark fog started to emerge them. They hit the ground causing a loud noise like a thunderbolt hitting the ground. Copper realized that Bell and Angel are still on the immortal bridge alone. Copper had to hurry because their oxygen would only last so long up their.

Copper couldn't see anything because of the dark fog. He saw bright red eyes and he got bit on his tail and thrown threw the barn. Coppers wings glowed with golden fire sparks coming off them and both his eyes glowed. One got really blue and the other got really light brown and he started to sprint. He hit Luther and flew up into the sky with super speed with Luther's unconscious because of Coppers wings hitting him harder than ever before.

A black hole started to open and that meant Bell and Angel were at five percent of oxygen left. Copper threw Luthar in the black hole never to be thought of again. Copper zoomed towards his family and picked them up and brought them back into the house . Copper ran out into the barn Bringing his golden fiery wings back into his body. He heard Bell helping Angel get his breath back so he could breath. She looked out the window at Copper and decided to go see him.

She was walking out with Angel to go see Copper. Copper went on the roof of the barn so it would take them longer to find him. Copper was really scared because his wife and son had found out the truth of his secret. Copper looked up in the sky and said I will never stop protecting my family I promise. Bell walked out on top of the barn and said " Copper you're the golden angle."
