If Only I Could Stay...

"Wait what?!"

"Can u not hear today?"

"Actually i can hear perfectly i just. I didn't... i didn't see u this morning."

"Uh."

Was I stressing him out? Iv'e barley said a word yet and he already seems aggravated. Whats his problem. A few questions or responses hes already annoyed and irritated. 

"I'm sorry all I did was ask a question."

"It's not the fact that u asked one u asked a stupid one I already had answered."

"Well then I wont ask anymore so I won't aggravate you! " I softly yelled.

He breathed in which led us into an awkward silence.

even though it was awkward I took this time to think about what all he said while in the hospital.

She's a close friend. No i'll wait till she wakes up. Is she gonna be okay? I really hope she wakes up soon.

Thinking all of those words over trying to connect them all together. It doesn't make sense. Why would he save me if he hates me and gets so aggravated when I ask a simple question. It just doesn't add up. I wanted to ask why again but I knew it would only end with a loud breath and silence. It was no use.

As I glanced at him I took in his image. He looked-he looked s- sad? He looked like he was going to cry. Was Paker Blake really gonna cry?!?! I looked at  the brim of his watery eyes and thought for certain he was going to cry. His green eyes where now a light green instead of the electric green they usually are. As I moved closer he started to tense up and immediately  his eyes got cold and slowly turned back to the electric green.

"U done checking me out."He said with a smirk plastered on his face."

"U wish."i said while a light blush crept on my cheeks."

I looked back out the window and didn't recognize where we were at all. It was pretty. There was a blue shimmering pond that was shining from the reflection from the sun. The pond was so blue it blended in with the sky. The trees looked as though they were painted. It was fall and the trees were just shedding so it was early fall. As I concentrated more on where we were going I noticed instead of passing the pond we where getting closer to it.

"Where are we going. "I asked frantically"

Again no response.  Why was he being so obnoxious! I was in the car with someone i didn't even know, taking me somewhere I haven't even seen. I knew I didn't know him but for some reason I felt safe and secure. I guess it was because he saved me from the drunkey today.I was getting more aggravated the fact that I didn't know why were where heading towards the lake. Was he going to drown me? No if he wanted me dead he would have let the drunkey kill me. Or did he save me just so he could do it to me himself?

I was for sure he was the fear on my face because I heard something I thought Parker Blake would never do. He laughed! I didn't even know that was possible.

"what are u laughing about."

"the fact that everything you've think that you've said in your head you've said out loud."

"seriously?!"

"yes, and no I didn't take u here to kill u."" he chuckled"

oh...good "I said embarrassed."

I looked back out the window and noticed we where here. We had finally arrived and I was more terrified than ever.

"you'll be fine stop stressing."

why should I trust u "I stated aggravated."

with that all of parker's emotions faded and so did his laughter.

getting out the car I studied the sensory it was beautiful. The lake was even more elegant up-close. The way the sun bounced off its surface. It was calm with occasional ripples from the soft blows of wind. the loud  chirps from the birds up above in the golden-red trees and the insects too loud you could barely hear yourself. As I neared closer to the lake I could feel the rocks cracking under my feet and could see the reflection of the fish through the water. The smell of nature and fresh air filled my lungs and the most reassurance feeling crept over me.

"lets go."
