JADE'S POV:

"Should we wake her or let her rest?" I hear a smack and bury my head further into the pillow. "Sorry for asking Master." Master? I shoot up and look around me. There stood Damon and Adam staring at me with a wicked grins. "Glad you're up. Go freshen up and put on comfortable...clothing." Adam says and walks out the room. Damon walks out behind him not saying a word.

I start to stretch and I slump. I hate the mornings with a burning passion. Why is the sun so bright? It's not like you can predict that it's going to be a wonderful weather. With it's fucked up bipolariness. It's sunny now but watch it rain. I get up and drag myself to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and put my hair in a simple ponytail. I change into yoga pants and a t-shirt. I think that's comfortable enough.

"Okay what was so important that you had to barge into my home?" I say with a stern voice and a hand on my hip. When they didn't say anything I cock my eyebrow up. "Well....are y-" I get pushed into the wall and I groan at the pain. I don't even try to get up it hurt to much. I slowly open my eyes and look at the person that pushed me. It was Damon. "What was that for?" I scream and start to stand up. I was livid.

Damon backed up and went beside Adam. "Well you asked what was so important. We are here to train you in case.....you need to fight." I look at him like he grew two heads.

"T-train me?" I say with my eyes wide. Damon nods his head. "But why? I thought....I thought that. I thought I didn't have to fight?" Damon begins to  laugh. "What? What's so funny?" Adam smacks Damon on the head making Damon stop his laughing. Damon hisses at Adam which Adam completely ignores.

"Did you think we were going to fight for you? That all you had to do was sit and watch?" Damon asked sending chills down my spine. I look down embarrassed at his assumption. It wasn't what I meant at all.

"I was just shocked is all. What I meant was I didn't know that I was going fight. Like I didn't this was a battle of some kind." Damon opens his mouth to say something but Adam stops him.

"Sorry love but these creatures aren't the type to drink some tea while discussing their problems to you. In all fairness all they want to do is kill you. They don't want someone more powerful than them. It scares them that their evil doing will be soon taken away from them." I let his words sink in. I have to fight and not only that. I have to fight supernatural creatures. I shivered well isn't this just great. To think that my whole life I was thinking of becoming an art major yet here I am. Not only do I have to this but I can end up dying. For what? Something that happened with the last Jade. I didn't sign up for this and I wanted nothing to do with this. Damon stands there looking behind me with his grey eyes. He notices my stare and looks away. Did I do something wrong?

"Okay but just know that I am a little clumsy." I say with a shy voice. I feel my face start to blush which makes me look down at the ground. I see Adam's hand being held out for me which I take still not letting my gaze leave the ground. I was quite embarrassed that these men will soon see me fall on my ass. Training will be a blast for them and a pain in the ass for me.

----

"We can't train you ourselves so we brought a group to help you. Each man is different from another, creature wise, so you can have the experience with each creature. Now you have to pay close attention when fighting these creatures especially with warlocks." Adam walks in front of me with his hands clasped behind his back. His posture was straight and perfect like he was in no mood for playing. His long legs were making strides in front of me not once stopping. His eyes were looking out at the forest instead of looking at me. I knew that this was going to make my body sore tomorrow.
