"That is none of your concern on how they know us. They are here to help you train with no questions asked. So don't ask," Damon said every word with each step he took closer to me. I backed away one step when he was close to comfort.

His glare was making me quiver in fear but the words came out without me knowing, "I didn't know it was a top secret mission." His lip rose up a little but went down just as I saw it. He looked at me again before turning around. "Are we done training?" Damon scoffed and I crossed my arms, "What?"

Adam cut in before Damon could speak another word, "I don't think 30 minutes of training will do anything to help you, Jade." I was about to protest that he was wrong on the time but he beat me to it. "We have to practice at least for 2 hours but I prefer 4 hours," his smile came up when he finished his sentence. I huffed not liking the idea at all. In my mind 30 minutes was just enough for each day. Maybe just maybe this whole war thing won't happen. The bad guys will just change their mind and I will sit back and tell the guys 'I told you so.'

"Okay but when I began to start to kicking ass can we stop?" I ask with a plead. The guys all laugh and huff out in annoyance. "What?" I ask with a mocking smile not giving them any intimation.

"Oh nothing," Oliver says and I kept my smile on my face.

"You don't believe that I can kick your ass?" I say in disbelief. Oliver quickly shakes his head while blurting out excuses. I shook my head and I told him to come here. He looked over at each of the guys with a confused face then looked over at me. He stopped in front of me and I grabbed his arm twisting it behind him before he could even register what I was doing. "I can also put it in," I move his arm a little making him go on his knees, "and if I push it even more I could cause a whole lot of pain." I let go of his arm with a proud smile.

Oliver got up while dusting off the dirt from his pants. "Yeah well I could just cast a spell and land you over to Narnia."

-----------------------

I walk inside and jump on the couch. The guys left right after I kicked their ass and they kicked mine for the final time. I acted like I wasn't phased that a lot of people well supernatural beings wanted to kill me. I feel like they didn't know me so why should they be trying to kill me. The old Jade didn't sound too bad but her temper was awful.

The doorbell rang interrupting my thoughts and I quickly got up. I opened the door and saw a strange man at the door. "Who are you looking for?" I ask slowly. My hand was on my phone ready to call the police if I needed too.

"I'm looking for Jade. Do you know where she's at?" He asks polietly but I was getting the wrong vibe from him.

"Can I ask what for?" My lips started to quiver but I forced myself to smile. I had my phone unlocked and the number pad on display, my finger was hovering over the last digit and I was hoping this man meant no harm.

"She was......a friend of my mother's," my eyes furrowed in confusion. I don't have many friends but I know for sure that none of them had kids. "From long ago. My mother became pregnant at such a young age," his words came out so smoothly. I almost believed him...almost. No one I knew had a child at a young age. Especially when I was barely sociable.

"You know I don't know a Jade. I thought you said Jaden but you kept referring him as a she. Which made me overthink who you were discussing about. Maybe you're on the wrong side of town," I say in a quick but polite tone. I even made my smile look sad for him because I need all the help I can get. "Wait...why would you as me? Ask Deborah over there," I ask him with a rude tone. I point at little old Deborah who was calling her dog over.

"Oh well I drove two hours to get here." I put my hand up telling him to stop talking and he closed his mouth.

"How did you know where I lived then? You couldn't just randomly wandered to my home," I say eyeing him up and down. If he came charging at me I could possibly take him down. I close my eyes in frustration then reopen them. Where is Damon when you need him?

"Right behind you," I squeal and quickly turn around coming face to face with Damon. He smiled at me and it completely fell when his eyes made it past my head. "You are? You know what? Fuck it. Get away from the door." His stern look took over his face which had me cowering back in fear. His glare looks like it was seeing through the man's soul. I turned around to the man again seeing if he was cowering back just like how I was. The man smiled before turning around. I watch him go and noticed one thing after I closed the door. How did his whole face change in 2.5 seconds. "Don't open the door for strangers," he shook his head and walked over to the couch then mumbled, "idiot," under his breath.

"Asswipe."
