I woke up to my brother snoring.
Talk about an alarm clock.....
I slapped his chest lightly, just like I would with an alram clock, and he immediately jumped up.
"Wha-," he started, but I cut him off.
"Wake up. We have school today," I groaned.
"Well now I am, thanks to you," he snapped.
"Your welcome, now lets go," I snapped back, holding in a small laugh.
We both stretched our backs, got out of the car, and went to the boxes or clothes, to pick out today's outfit.
My brother just picked out random clothes, but somehow he always makes them go together. And, unlike him, I wanted to make an appearance, and let people know who I am. Brad had a white v-neck t-shirt with a pink and purple framed picture that showed a guy looking out into the horizon. He also had a pair of jeans on, and black and red nike sneakers. He then put on his blue/black sports necklace.
I picked out a gray long sleeve shirt with maroon sleeves, light blue skinny jeans, and maroon converses. Then, I grabbed a bunch of red charm bracelets, a black thick-strapped, spiked bracelet, and a gray beanie. I brushed my hair out, and put the beanie on. I put some light make-up on that I found in another box, and then grabbed my black backpack with small, white lightening bolts all over it, and went to go find my mother and Brad.
My mom came out with breakfast, and then we ate fast. Once finished, our mom drove us to our new school. Turns out, the school we were at yesterday for open gym, is our new school. She parked the car, we grabbed our bags, and got out of the car. We walked up the steps, and entered the school building. We went into the main office, and was greeted by a lady who was working on her computer. She looked up, and smiled.
"How may I help you all?" she asked very politely.
"We were hoping to speak to the principal?" my mom asked. "We have just moved here, and I told him we were coming in today."
"Oh okay. Let me see if he's busy, and if not, then I'm sure you can see him," she said.
"That would be great, thank you," my mom said.
The lady nodded, and got up from her seat, and walked across the room to a door, and knocked on it. She poked her head through the doorway, and then came back to her desk.
"He'd love to see you now," she told us, and then we nodded and thanked her before we walked to the door.
*10-12 minutes later*
"Okay guys, have fun, behave, all that good stuff. I love you," my mom mumbled as she pulled us into a tight bear hug.
"Yup. Love you, too," Brad and I said in sync. She let go of us, and waved us goodbye. Once she was out the door, and the door closed behind her, me and Brad, both, gave a great bid sigh of relief. We laughed, and then hugged.
"Good luck," I told him.
"Thanks. Same to you," he replied.
Me and Brad split, and then I pulled out my map of the school the principal gave me, and looked at my schedule to find my homeroom. Thankfully, it wasn't too far from here. It was room 139 with Mrs. Prescott. She was also my first period for E/LA.
She sounds nice....I hope.
I walked down the hall a little bit to find room 139. I peaked through the doorway and no one was there yet, since it was only 7:47, so I had time to talk and introduce myself to the teacher without anyone watching.
