He put his hand over mine and looked me in the eyes.... his hand was so warm.
"You can trust me. You don't have to be afraid," he said.
"But it hurts a lot. I don't think I can bear this painful feeling inside my chest anymore. What they did to me was unforgivable," I sobbed.
He cupped my cheeks with his hands. "It's ok... let me see."
I nodded.
He started to remove my sock slowly. I cringed from the pain that I felt from my leg. I closed my eyes so I wouldn't see it, but as I closed them, I didn't feel my sock being pulled anymore. I wondered why he stopped.
I opened my eyes and saw his face so close to mine. His eyes were staring deeply into mine. They were so blue.
His face slowly drew nearer to mine....
