Nina looked awkwardly at Tristian, she could feel herself blushing. She had a hard time looking at Tristian, who as usual kept his composure.
Maybe he is a professional at wooing girls
An awkward silence engulfed both of them.
"Shall we get some food?" Tristian spoke rather abruptly.
"Yes."
They walked towards the cafeteria, keeping a safe distance between them. The occasional glances they had was enough for the inner goddess inside Nina to do back flips. She tried to control the blush she had. Her pale skin was now a light shade of red.
They reached the cafeteria, looking at each other waiting for one to make a move.
"Let's go sit there" Tristian pulled Nina towards a table.
Nina was taken aback by the sudden pull and she almost tripped on her steps.
"Careful!"
"Sorry." Tristian stuck his tongue out and rubbed the back of head with his hand.
Nina started laughing, she found the gesture of Tristian rather comical. She was starting to feel comfortable around him. His presence felt a lot less awkward to her now.
"I'm glad you're amused"
"I'm sorry"
"Haha, It's fine." Tristian pulled the chair in front of Nina and sat on it.
Nina had a confused look on her face, she soon realized he was of course, not about to pull out the chair for her. She was about to pull out the chair opposite to Tristian when she saw him get up. She had a warm smile on her face, she thought he was going to be the gentleman she thought he was. Tristian walked straight past Nina to get some food. Nina felt stupid, she pulled out her chair and made herself comfortable.
"I don't know what you like, but i bought some orange juice for you."
"You actually did something for me, Thank you."
"Was that sarcastic?"
"Maybe."
Nina started sipping her orange juice. She looked at what Tristian got, she was not expecting him to actually bring so much.
"Are you going to eat all that?"
"Um.Yes"
There was a tone of uncertainty in his voice which Nina could sense. Nina looked at him intently.
"Can you really eat all that?"
Tristian was clearly feeling agitated by Nina's question. He had a irritated expression on his face.
"Okay, let me go get my own food"
"Ya" Tristian spoke with a mouthful of food.
