Piper

"Hey, Piper, sorry I haven't been here all day, Leo needed help with something." Jason said.

Piper was exhausted. She'd been with Hope all day, and was worn out from all of Hope's crying. And if that wasn't enough, she was furious with Jason. She didn't say anything as she walked around collecting all of Hope's toys and putting them into a box.

Jason watched her for a bit.

"Are you OK?" He finally asked.

"Fine." Piper snapped.

"Have I done something to upset you?"

Piper stopped and glared at him.

"I just think you should start thinking about your family more and start putting Hope first, rather than going off and having a laugh with your mates. I haven't had one break today while you were off gallivanting with Leo."

"I was helping Leo with something that needed to be repaired-"

"And you're telling me that he couldn't have asked Percy, or Frank, or Dakota, or someone else rather than you."

"Look, when Leo asked, he was desperate. This thing is really important for him-"

"And your telling me that your family is less important than a machine that could have been repaired by anyone-"

"Leo needed me specifically. He'd already asked everyone else-"

"Oh just leave your excuses for someone who actually cares, Jason. I feel more like a single parent everyday-"

"Are you trying to tell me that you can't cope? Because if you can't-"

"Oh, gods, why does everybody think I can't cope? I just want some support from my fianceé, who happens to be this baby's father!"

They stared at each other, fuming for a few seconds. Then Jason's expression softened.

He crossed the room to her and pulled her against his chest.

"You're right, Piper, I'm sorry. I should have been more responsible, and I should have shouldered some of the responsibility. I'm sorry."

Piper thawed after a few minutes.

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have been so harsh with you. I guess I'm just tired."

"Why don't you go have a sleep I'll look after Hope for a few hours." Jason reasoned.

Piper nodded sleepily, and made her way to their bedroom. It was only a few seconds after her head hit the pillow that she was sleep, and was dreaming blissfully.

Jason

Jason was worried. When Piper said everybody thinks she can't cope, he got worried. It wasn't just him who thought it...

It was others too.

That's the end of the third chapter, hope you liked it! I will only be able to write again until next next week, for certain reasons, but after next week, expect Chapter 4! Georgie xoxo.
