Fire In My Eye

Prologue

Unusual fifteen-year old girl was walking through the corridors of her highschool. Violet fur covered her whole body and two small horns were coming out of the back of her head almost entirely covered by her shoulder-length violet hair. Her right eye is ligh-green while her left eye covered by an eyepatch is bloody-red. Pure white X was located on her forehead. She was quite thin and was about 180 cm tall.Her name was Gummy. I wonder what kind of idiot thought that it was a good idea to make math our first period. She though to herself as she opened the door leading to her homeroom. When she entered the class she turned on the lights and went to sit down at her desk in the back of the class near the window. She took out her phone from the blue sweatshirt she always wears alongside her black student's uniform. She looked at the time. 7:10 i still have time before the class begins. Suddenly the door of the classroom opened and her best friend entered. Yellow fur covered her whole body, she had body of an athlete an was tall good 196 cm. She had cute fox ears on her head and her hair shared their color with her fur. She had beautiful blue eyes.

"Hi Gummy." greeted her the kitsune.

"Hi Rena are you looking forward to the first period?" asked Gummy and replied to her greeting with sarcastic tone.

"Actually I do, because I enjoy math."

Gummy looked out of her window and saw the beautiful dawn. She was lost in her thoughts as she looked at the rising sun until she was interrupted by the school bell. She looked around the empty class. Twenty-eight people are not here, that is a new record. Suddenly the door opened again and their teacher entered. Pink feathers covered her entire body and she had a beak instead of normal mouth. She was about 185 cm tall and had about average frame.

"Only two people again? Why do I even teach here."

"Maybe you could figure it out with the person that thought having Math as first period on monday is a good idea." said Rena.

"You are right." sighed the teacher.

"Just do as you wish."

Gummy took out a book from her bag and opened on a page where she stopped reading last night.

She lost track of time and the school bell reminded her that the first period is over. Suddenly the rest of their class starts to enter the class.

"Well I guess a lot of people don't like math." said Rena as she took out her chemistry book.

The day went by quickly and before Gummy knew it the fourth period ended.

"Time for lunch!" Gummy yelled happily and took out her lunch box.

"So want to eat on the roof as always?" asked Rena.

"Yeah let's go." smiled Gummy.

They walked through the corridors of the school in ordr to get to the roof. Once they made it there they sat on the bench near the entry.

"Tofu with rice and mix of chinese vegetables." said Gummy as she opened her lunch box.

"Again?"

"Well I have been perfecting my cooking so it is absolutely delicious." said Gummy with pride.

"Yeah say that to my stomach when you first cooked for me."

Suddenly they heard a cry for help. Gummy and Rena quickly ran towards the noise. They saw small student crying on the floor as three older ones kicked him.

"Hey stop that!" yelled Gummy

"Oh if it isn't the One-eyed princess and her little dog." said one of them.¨

"If you mess with us you will regret it." said Rena with dangerous look in her eyes.

"Guys get them." said the oldest of them.

Two of them charged at them. In a blink Rena appeared behind them and knocked them out with well placed punches. Third one looked scared. He took out a knife out of his pocket and threw it at Gummy. She revealed her red eye and yelled.

"Fiamma!" as soon as she yelled it massive wall of crimson fire appeared before her. The knife bounced right of it.

"Monsters!" yelled third one of the bullies and ran away.

Gummy's legs felt weak. She kneeled on the cold ground.

"Are you okay?" asked Rena and her voice was full of worry.

"Yeah i quess i went a little overboard." Gummy said as she slowly stood up.

"Go ahead Rena i don't want you to be late for class because of me."

Rena nodded and dissappeared behind the door. Gummy slowly walked towards the door and through the staircase. When someone bumped into her.

Auch that hurts!

"Are you alright?" asked a wingless red dragon with a V-crest on his forehead.

"Don't worry about me I am used to pain." lied Gummy with a smile.

"Well I apologize for bumping into you like that."

"It's alright but if you excuse I need to go to class, I am already running late as it is."

"Oh i understand, goodbye then."

Gummy stood up and ran all the way to her class. She quickly opened the door. Her classmates and the teacher all looked very surprised.

"I am sorry for being late it won't happen again."

"It's alright just please sit down."

Gummy sat down at her desk in the back of the class. She listened to the things that her teacher said about psychology. It is one of few classes she actually enjoys. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. The teacher opened the door and to talked to someone in the hallway for a while.

"Very well class I would like to introduce a transfer student."
