It has been three days since Josh died and Ripley still isn't anywhere to be seen. School has gone back to normal aside the gloomy faces of Josh's friends and some of them hiding their faces in their lockers trying to pull themselves together.
Is Ripley okay? Ripley might be bitchy sometimes or most of the time but she doesn't deserve to feel the way she's feeling right now, nobody does.
"Hey Nick, have you seen Ripley lately?" said Troy. Troy isn't exactly my friend but we talk occasionally.
"Uh, no. I was just about to ask you the same question."
"Dude, I'm really worried about her."
"No shit really mate. They were in a fight and he was trying to apologize to her on the phone. Um, that was when the crash happened." He was having trouble talking about what had happened.
"Oh shit, that's just, uh wow." I didn't know what else to say to that. He was trying to apologize to her on the phone, Ripley must be blaming herself for the crash. Oh God, that's not good.
