Lockwoods POV

I can't believe that boy! I thought I told him to back off back at the poltergeist's house! Worst of all he asked Lucy out on a date. I shuddered at the thought of Lucy ending up with James. "Lockwood? Hello?" Georges voice snapped me out of my daydream. "Hmm?" I replied.
"I know what's going on, Lockwood," he grinned, "your jealous."
"What?!" I coughed and spluttered. George erupted in laughter. I shot him a glare and stormed off to my room.

Lucy's POV

I have no clothes. NONE. I thought whilst staring into my wardrobe, I only had skirts, jumpers, legging and the occasional nightie. Then (once I dug a little deeper into the depths of my wardrobe.) I found a dress, I was shocked that I even owned a dress! It was slightly above my knees and it was a light shade of blue, perfect! I thought.

I put the dress on and actually brushed my hair, I applied the smallest bit of makeup and slipped on a pair of sparkly flats. I checked the time, 5:20pm it read, I had ten minutes until James was coming to pick me up so I went downstairs to see Lockwood and George. As I was standing at the top of the stairs Lockwood came out of his room and gasped. "Wow Luce, you look stunning!" He said
"Thanks," I replied and descended the stairs, Lockwood followed behind me.
"Hey George," I greeted and sat down at the table. "Wow Lucy! I barely recognised you!" He said astonished. I rolled my eyes at him. "George can I talk to you outside," Lockwood said and indicated towards the hall, George shrugged and they left, leaving me by myself.

Ok so I know I shouldn't eaves drop but I couldn't help it! I got up slowly and put my ear to the door.
"Lockwood you have to tell her!" George said.
"But she has a date tonight, George," Lockwood replied.
"So make your move now before she leaves!"
"But it could ruin everything if she doesn't feel the same way!"
"Lockwood it's now or never,"
"Fine," Lockwood finally gave in.
"Now go in there and tell her that you love her!" George said.
Wait what? Had I heard that right? Before I had time to react the door swung inwards and I fell, landing on top of Lockwood. I scrambled up off the floor and brushed my dress down.
"You heard all of that didn't you Luce?" Lockwood sighed. "Yes," I replied looking down at the floor, letting my bangs fall in front of my face. "He tilted my head so that I was facing him, "I love you Lucy, do you love me?" He asked.
