Riley McCallaway's POV

so Today is the day..

its Friday.. I ain't got no dresses, no heels, no manicure, no hair style, no make up, no nothing. Its just me and my spongebob PJ's and yes its prom night.

I don't plan on going even if that retarded teacher would send me to summer school, I'd rather do the time.

Riley McDonough's POV

okay its 7pm time to pick up Riles..

I knocked on their door a bit nervous but shhyeaaa I can do this!

"Good evening Mommy Jess!" I greeted her

"Hey Riley! you looking good tonight aye! whats the catch?" she asked uhmm weirdly I think she's in her early 40's but she's trying to cope up with our generation.. not working

"oh I'm here to pick up your daughter, I'm going to escort her to the prom" I said

"WAIT TONIGHT'S HER PROM NIGHT!? WHY DIDN'T SHE TELL ME!?" Mommy Jess asked

"she doesn't really plan on going but I insisted" I said

"RILEY JANE McCALLAWAY COME DOWN RIGHT NOW" she shouted furiously

I won't be surprised if she's wearing another tux..

oh she's wear her jammies at least its not worse..

"Why didn't you inform me that tonight is your prom?" Mommy Jess asked trying to be calm

"because I didn't wanted to go" she answered

"Still you should've told me so and this is one of the highlights of your life why would you wanna miss it?" She asked still hiding the anger from her voice but a little less harsh now..

"its just not my thing" Riles said

"okay okay I understand" Mommy Jess said

"but McCallaway you do understand that if you skipped prom tonight you'd fail in Geometry and you'll have to go to summer school.." I said so that Mommy Jess would command her to go to prom and hey I didn't rented this tux a $100 for nothing

"WHAT RILEY WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!? I AM YOUR MOM AND I DESERVE TO KNOW EVERYTHING" She shouted at Riles losing her temper

"thats why I didn't tell you! because I knew you would over-react!" she complained

"You have to go to that prom, you should win a title. This is for your future Riley besides what will your dad say? he's been working so hard for you to study and be fed and you gave him this in return? You are going okay? and thats final." mommy Jess said

"but Mom, we're not even sure if I am going to win besides proms are not my thing" she answered

"Its worth a shot, Maybe if you studied hard this wouldn't happen." mommy jess said

McCallaway looked sad and offended

"Riley, please take care of my daughter. please help her" mom jess said to me

"Yes M'am!" I said

Me and Riles left and yes she's still wearing pajamas

"this is your fault McDonough! if you didn't brought up that summer school shit Mom wouldn't care less about me and you just really want to go to that stinkin prom!" she said angrily

"I'm sorry.. its just.. you know since I started my carreer early I didn't go to a real high school because I'm homeschooled and I've never been to a high school dance and.. I just wanna feel how its like to be a regular teenager.." I said sincerely
