Chapter 8: oh shit

Riley McCallaway's POV

After that night me and Cody dated exclusively for two weeks, we hang out everyday sometimes he goes in our bus and sometimes I go in his. We just get along real well and looks like Ri and Lyss too although I am starting to fall for Cody and I know he's falling for me too but we don't have any commitment yet besides I am still figuring things out between Ri and Codes but I guess I'll learn to love Cody too soon since he's really nice and he's the whole package its not hard to fall for him. Tonight they are performing in Washington, DC. We arrived at the venue first so me and the boys are exploring the venue like we always do..

"How's the merch sales going?" Ri asked

"so far so good! hope we'll sell out all the merch later so you guys should put on a great show! anyways I know you'd kill it!" I said

"well thats nice.. are you doing anything later?" he suddenly asked

ok well this is odd.

"no.. nothing yet.. why?" I responded

"I miss you.. y'know.. you're always here but it seems like you're not.. When we have interviews we can't see you, when I'm free you're with Cody.. I miss my best friend too.. maybe we can hang out tonight? y'know like the usual, watching movies and playing basketball and stuff" He said

Then I realized that I've been spending so much time with Cody that I've actually been avoiding Riley, I forgot how our relationship has been. Me and Riley are best friends since we were kids, He knew everything about me so why would I let my old feelings ruin that? Been spending so much time with Cody that I forgot we're still best friends. How could I be that selfish?!

"hey y'know I'm sorry that I haven't been spending time with you guys, truth is I also miss you. I was selfish.. I forgot that you guys are the reason why I am here yet I tend to ignore you.. C'mon let's explore DC tonight! let's rent bikes and play basketball and stuff, I miss that!" I said

"that sounds great! looking forward to that!" He said smiling

After 5 seconds Riley's smile faded and someone from behind me covered my eyes..

"guess who.." he said with a fake american accent

"Cody, durrr" I said

"nope dope" he said

"Cody stop, you ain't fooling nobody" I said

"alright.. you got me" he said and sat beside me

"watcha doing later tonight?" Cody asked

"well me and Ri are planning on doing some exploring tonight" I answered

"aw, I was going to ask you if we can watch a movie together but seems like you already have plans.. or maybe I could just go with you guys?" Cody said

"actually uhmm.. its just the two of us" Ri said

I think I've heard that line before o_O

"what!? the more the merrier right Riley?" Cody said

I'm having a weird De ja vu today o_O

Cody and Riley's litte argument turned out all of us going out. Me, Connor, Toby, Riley, Cody and Alyssa.. We rent bikes and went all around DC, The store ran out of bikes so me and Cody had to share and Lyss and Ri too.. Exploring DC wasn't that much fun as I thought it would be. Basically, Cody ruined the whole trip because everytime we stop by a tourist spot, HE BECAME THE TOURIST SPOT. Fans are always taking pics with him which took us an hour to stop by every spot and thirty minutes just to stop by the bathroom -_- I never thought Cody being famous would be this hard.
