Competition pt 1

Aphmau's pov

It's been about a few weeks since Garroth and I started dating. I've made friends with a lot of people and made an enemy out of Zane.I love it here. But I love Garroth even more. Sappy, I know but it's the truth.

I've decided to start writing a book. I'm gonna call it Minecraft Diaries. Anyway, for our three week anniversary I got Garroth a basketball autographed by his favorite basketball player.

A few days before out anniversary Garroth calls me out on a date to the park but when I get there I can't find him anywhere. I finally find him but..what he's with another girl? Nicole?!?! I see him take her hand and she kisses his cheek!

I don't want to believe it. I run away with tears in my eyes and bump into Zane. "Hey!" "I-I'm sorry." I try to run away but he grabs my hand and pulls me in his arms. He starts patting my hair. "Shhh. It's okay to cry once in a while."

I can't hold back my tears so I just stand there and cry. I cry until I can't cry anymore. Once I stop Zane asks. "Feeling better?" All I can do is nod. "What made you cry like that?"I-I saw G-Garroth..."

I couldn't finish but Zane finished for me. "With another girl?" I could feel the tears come back. Zane stood up and held out a hand. "Come on. I'll walk you home." "Why are you being nice to me?" I didn't think Zane was capable of being this nice.

"Lets just say, I hate seeing a strong girl like you cry." He held out his hand and I took it while saying "Thank you Zane." With that I let Zane take me home.

Garroth's pov

I have somethings to do in the park, mainly setting up a picnic for me and Aph, when I run into Nicole. She shows me a shell she got on a vacation to the beach recently.

I touch the outside of the light purple shell and imagine how good it would look on Aphmau when I feel something soft on my cheek. I look up and see Nicole looking smugly at a hill nearby.

I look over to see some black hair running away. 'Aphmau? Oh no, did she just? She probably thinks I.' I take off running and soon see Zane holding Aphmau like a piece of glass.

I could hear her sobs from where I'm at and my heart breaks. I made her feel like trash and my baby brother is comforting her. Although, he never really did like seeing girls cry.

Soon Aphmau stops crying and I move behind a nearby tree. I don't want her to see me after I made her cry like that. Even if it wasn't my fault.

A few minutes later I see Zane walking her home, his hand in hers. And then I walk home in the dark wondering how I can fix this. Hopefully she doesn't hate me enough to not hear me out.
