Unexpected Friend

Aphmau's pov

On our way to the school yard Garroth and I dropped by the grocery store and bought alot of coffee, hot cocoa mix and toppings. Once we get to where our stand is supposed to be my mind was blown.

Kiki was making a banner. Aaron and Dante were setting up the stand base and Vlyad was working behind the counter setting up all the coffee pots and hot water dispensers. "Anything we can help with?" I ask. "Can you help me with the banner? Garroth can help Zane with the menu." Kiki says.

I wasn't sure I heard her right and lower my voice. "Zane?" "Yeah." Dante turns his head. "He showed up and said that you said he could help." I started to say something but stopped when I remembered what happened. "Is he here?" "Yeah he's behind the counter with Vlyad." I started to leave but Garroth stopped me. "Are you gonna be ok?" "Yeah I just need to talk to him."

Garroth goes over to help Kiki and I head behind the counter. "Hey Vlyad. I brought some coffee and cocoa, plus some toppings, creamer, and sugar." He turns to me and smiles. "Thanks! Just set the stuff over by the coffee pots." "Alright." As I do I trip over Zane.

"Sorry Zane." I say reflexively. "It wasn't your fault. It's alright." To be completly honest I wasn't expecting that from him. I set down the things and ask Zane, "Can I talk to you?"Sure." We walk towards the gates. Once were out of sight Zane kisses me on the cheek. "W-Why did you do that?!"

He bows on one knee and says "Angel, thank you for removing the darkness in my heart." "Uhh, your welcome?" 'Okay maybe that light yesterday messed with his head.' "To be completly honest I don't know how I did that. I need to talk to Em...Emmalyn!" Thats right I didn't talk to her because of my night with Garroth.

"Hey!! Think you can help us?!" Aaron yells. Oh crap! I guess one problem at a time."Sorry we'll be right there!" I turn to Zane. "Sorry to make you pick up my slack." "No problem, Angel. Anything for you." We start walking. "One more thing, please stop calling me 'Angel'. Call me Aph, okay?" "Aph? Alright I think I can do that."

Zane's pov

I woke up in my bed this morning tired but not angry. I didn't remember ever coming here. "Maybe that angel brought me here?" I remembered a white winged, black haired beauty that used to be Aphmau. I decided I wanted to see her today so I went to her group's unmade stand.

Everyones doing their own thing and Dante and Kiki keep arguing about how the banner should look. Aaron was the first one to notice me. They asked me what I was doing here and I lied telling them Aphmau sent me to help. Soon after I started getting the menu board set up Aphmau and Garroth show up. One look at my Guardian Angel and I was in love. 'Senpai notice me.'
