"are you sure you want to do this?" doug asks cara, as she smiles, and nods her head yes. the two begin to kiss again, the kiss getting deeper and more meaningful.
"you sure no one is coming over, right?" cara asks, continuing the kiss.
"yeah, i'm su-" but he gets cut off, to the sound of someone coming up the stairs.
"doug, you home from school?" cara hears the voice and looks over at doug, a worried expression on his face.
"yes, can you please go to the store and get me some snacks? thanks," he says, as the two hear her go back down the stairs.
"what the hell doug? you said you lived alone," cara says angrily, fixing her top and standing up, throwing her shoes and sweater on.
"well, i'm saving up to live on my own," doug says, standing up along with her, "please, forgive me."
"you have to stop lying to me, first it was that you have your own car, then saying you forgot your wallet at home when i blatantly can always see it in your pocket, and now this? you got one more shot," cara says, grabbing her phone and storming out of his room.

"yo, did you hear about doug and cara?" luke asks michael on their way to school.
"no, what happened? did they break up?" michael asks.
"no, but she caught him lying again. he said he lived alone, but then his mom came home, it was crazy," luke laughs, as the two pull up to the school and get out of the car.
michael begins his usual route to his first period class, stoping at jamie's locker first.
"is it true about cara and doug? she's mad at him?" micahel asks, as jamie nods her head yes.
"but she's stupid and giving him one more chance. i mean he has already had three strikes, i don't know what she's waiting for, he's lame and his personality sucks," jamie says, closing her locker. she goes one way, and michael goes the other. as michael nears cara's locker, she is getting out some textbooks. he walks up to her and wraps his arms around her waist from behind.
he leans his head down, and mutters in her ear, "i've got my own place, just saying."
he then let's go and walks to his first period class with no more stops, leaving cara there, unsure if she made the right decision on giving her boyfriend another chance.
