michael could not get the thought out of his head that doug is cheating on a girl like cara. how could you cheat on a girl like cara? she is beautiful, kind, funny, and really smart. basically everything doug isn't.
"can you guess what michael said to me today?" cara asks doug, as he is in her passenger seat of her car.
"nope, what did he say," doug says, texting someone on his phone.
"he told me he saw you kissing another girl in a bakery or something yesterday. can you believe that? sometimes i think michael will say anything to get us to break up," cara chuckles, pulling into doug's driveway to drop him off.
"wow, um, yeah that's so stupid of him to say," doug says quickly, then getting out of the car and running inside his house before cara gets a chance to respond to him.
in the meanwhile, michael is complaining to luke about cara not believing him.
"dude, just chill. soon enough cara and doug will break up, but don't be obsessive over her. then she will just find you weird and will never give you a chance, kinda play hard to get, you know?" luke suggests.
"you know what, that' actually a good idea. i'll just kinda stop talking to her, i'll let her find out on her own. then when she finds out and comes crawling to me, i'll just say i told you so," michael says, as luke laughs.
"now that's what i'm talking about. but why don't you just do something to get her off your mind right now. maybe try talking to other girls and see if any catch your eye," luke says as michael agrees.
"but honestly, how can she not see through him, how is someone like her getting played by someone like him?" michael says, as luke rolls his eyes.
"michael, let it go,"
"geez luke, i'm just saying,"
