-Tony's POV-
"Ziva." I whispered, trying to wake her up. Her snoring was outrageous. I rolled over on my side, facing her. "Ziva?" I whispered a bit louder. Still no response. I opened my mouth to whisper her name again, but her snoring had miraculously ceased... Feeling satisfied, I rolled back over and closed my eyes.
All of a sudden, I felt the bed shaking. My forehead creased as I rolled over again. I noticed Ziva's face was drenched in sweat, and her body was trembling. "Zeev wake up." I said in my normal voice. The shaking stopped, but I noticed her breathing had too. "Ziva!" I screamed, grasping her arm and shaking her.
She awoke and nearly screamed, flying upward just as she had done months ago in this very room.
"Tony..." Ziva looked at me with saddened eyes. I held my finger up to her lips, shushing her. Gently, I slid her back down on the bed, holding her in an embrace. She rested her head on my shoulder. I tried to calm her by affectionately brushing her hair back with my hand. "I'm fine now." Ziva stated, clearly not fine.
"No you're not." I said as I reached for the tissues on the nightstand. I began dabbing her face with the tissues. I was surprised Ziva actually let me, instead of insisting on doing it herself.
"So what was your bad dream about?" I asked as I threw the wet tissues on the floor.
"There was a shooting at work, but I couldn't do anything. I was tied up somewhere... The morgue I think. The man holding me there had sharp tools in his hand. The only people in the building were me, you, and Abby." Ziva said.
I wrapped Ziva up with one arm, pulling her in tight so that my hand was on her waist and her head rested on my chest. "I'll make sure that doesn't happen. Get some sleep, okay?"
"Okay. Night, Tony." Ziva said.
"Night" I said, kissing her forehead.
