Carnival

The carnival was packed when they got there, even though it was nearly midnight.

"What do you want to do?" Tony asked Ziva as they walked up. Ziva only smiled and ran like a child to the cotton candy booth, tugging Tony behind her as if he were a doll. Ziva ordered only one cotton candy, and when Tony wondered why, she insisted on the two sharing it. Then, it was Tony's turn to decide on the activity. The fair was about to shut down for the night, and there was one thing he wanted to do, just one...

Tony guided Ziva to the Ferris wheel, which was glowing like a rainbow in the night, while making her cover her eyes. When they were right smack in front of it, Tony allowed her to open them.

"Wow!" She exclaimed, breathless. "I have never seen anything more beautiful..."

"I have." Tony smiled as her ushered Ziva onto the ride. Ziva blushed.

On the way up, they talked nothing of the current case, but of normal, couple like things. For example, they talked about how Tony's neighbors made so much noise the other night it was nearly impossible to rest. Or how the man two apartments down always had a hooker over, also how the man must be lonely.

At the top of the Ferris wheel, while Ziva was in the middle of her sentence, Tony placed a finger over her lips to shush her. "Look at the view." So, Ziva glanced at the serene nature on one side of them, and the rowdy carnival on the other. Both making her feel like a kid all over again. "I meant you, Zeev." Tony complimented once more, intertwining his hand in hers and placing a gentle kiss on her lips as the Ferris wheel began its motions once again. Ziva seized the moment, and kissed Tony back. This time, though, much more passionately.

Tony helped Ziva down the stairs off the Ferris wheel, though he knew she didn't need it. He was only being gentlemanly. When they stepped off the platform, they realized the park had begun closing down for the night.

"Home, Zeev?" Tony asked, revving up the engine and heading away from the fairgrounds. Ziva nodded. She had a wonderful night planned. That is, if Tony wasn't too tired...
