•Bounce Pov•

I hopped in my smokey grey Hummer and cranked up Panda by Designer. I pulled off on my way to the trap house. When I arrived I took my keys out the ignition and swung them around in circles as I approached the big black solid doors. I went to sit in my office thinking about life that's the only place were I could let my thoughts roam around in my head without someone interrupting me .I thought about Serin who really had me caught up even though I really didn't know her, it was something about her that made it impossible for her to get off my mind. Even though I was in a illegal business I never disrespected a girl, you get use to seeing niggas slap their girl around when she didn't talk right but my father taught me  better than that. My dad taught me how to treat a lady but my mom was crazy so I never really grew up with a women in the house. My dad took over the illegal business after his father got kilt, but even before that my pops started selling drugs to supply for the family. I guess you can say it was gonna keep getting passed down since it was a risky business. It wasn't a good thing but if that's all you see when you grow up, you can't help it. I was just about to go into thinking about quitting in this business  when my dad the boss walked in asking me to handle some business. Of course I said yes he gave me the package and I headed out.

    15min later I rolled up to the house I was assigned to and knocked on the door. The dude opened the door and he had blood shot red eyes, and he looked like he been through hell and back ,he kinda looked familiar but I just couldn't figure it out. How much the dude asked, 1500 I replied he handed the money and I gave him the package. He nodded his head in agreement and I gave him a straight face and walked away.

  On my way home driving through the busy streets of NY I analyzed the homeless on the corners begging for money, people walking in streets and pimps walking with finest clothes on with their gold digging wives on the side of them when I spotted Serin. I couldn't believe my eyes. She was so busted up, she looked homeless, just yesterday she looked fine, I pulled over to the side of the road and quickly got out my car and ran to her side. People just walked passed her looking like this she had blood dripping down her face, I couldn't believe my eyes, this beautiful girl was looking innocent helpless and vulnerable, I couldn't even imagined what could've happened and why she was out here like this.

" Serin Serin" I whispered in her ear. " Wake up, are you okay?"
She started to twitch a little but she didn't respond. I was glad to at least see she made some type of movement. I gently picked her up and put her in the passenger seat of my Hummer. I rushed her to the hospital and immediately took her to the emergency room, I watched as they took her back to examine her and make sure she was okay. I asked if I could go back to check on her, they said family only, I had to lie and say I was her boyfriend.

As I examined her laying in the hospital bed I felt so bad for her. She looked as if she'd been deprived of food and hygiene. I asked the doctor how long does she have to be in here and they stated about two more weeks. She had internal bleeding in her brain and that she has been in and out of coma. If she didn't get to the hospital in time she would of bled to the death internally.

• Three Weeks Later •

As Serin awoke she had an awful headache. She had to repeatedly drink water to rehydrate herself. She looked over and saw Tyreke staring at her in awe.
" What are you doing here?"

" You were on the side of the road covered in blood." Tyreke stated.

Serin couldn't remember what happened exactly.

" The doctor said you can be released tomorrow."

• Serins Pov•
Where am I going to go, I have no family or friends I thought to myself.

" Where am I gonna to go?" I sighed.

" You can stay with me until you feel better." Tyreke suggested.

I didn't know where else to go so I agreed, I really didn't trust Tyreke because the last time I ran into a guy it was a set up. But I had no where else to go.

• Two Days Later•

•Serin•

This boy was just to nice, I never met someone that treated me this well, besides my dad which I need to find. I thought about my father and wondered if he were dead or alive. Why did he never return to me when he knew I was so young I could have died out there. I started to tear up and started crying, this is ridiculous, Bounce probably thinks that I'm sensitive and all but I'm really not, I'm just going through so much by finding out my father is alive, my ex boyfriend being crazy and me having feelings for this guy Bounce.

When we released from the hug Bounce looked me in the the eyes and asked if I was ready to go to my friends house now.

My friend and I didn't really talk much because she didn't like King. She kept telling me to leave him but she never offered me to stay with her knowing I had no other option. She always said she didn't want any of the drug drama brought to her house even though that's the only type of guys she messed with. She didn't even know I was in the hospital because we don't talk that often, so for me to just pop up at her front door is going to be a big surprise. I told Bounce about her and suggested that I stay with her since he know I really didn't feel comfortable  staying with him. I told him how she was be he still suggested that I at least give it a try.
