"Longing for Love" -Nick Howard M. Encarnacion

When all my "happy bulbs" got so burnt out,

I always think about where should I be going.

I always think what this is all about,

but all I know is that for love, I'm longing.

My problem had passed, but my eyes ended sore.

I didn't care about it, though, for I have no friends to cry for.

So by that time, I went by the seashore.

Still longing for love, but I will not close this door.

Now all I've got here is a simple answer.

It has to work or else I'm done, I swear.

But I found out that my solution doesn't matter,

for I'm still longing for love, and it feels like a disaster

So then, I locked myself to a dark room,

No one's still loving me, I assume.

To my incomplete poem, I resume.

And I began writing all about my doom.

To my surprise, the door suddenly opened.

It was mother. And she began talking to me.

Word by word, she began repairing my heart, which is broken.

And she really loved me, and she'll always be.

What I want you to understand here is that,

when you are "broken hearted", don't just wait.

Just remember, there are people who loves you, like your family, that much.

And forever will return you unending love, not hate.
