Everybody, Nobody.
-Nick Howard

When wooden sticks are held by nails.
When the friendship of yours sails.
All things will come to an end.
Like how I'm now nobody's best friend.

When you can speak to everyone equally
When you can talk to everyone easily,
Someday, someone's holding a knife behind your back.
Outside, they'll treat you like trash.

When all comes to failure.
When you brought the best out of you.
When all was cherished by others.
When you were tired of them.

When they are finished on getting
The things in you they are hoping
When you thought you've come to the top
Then you feel that they are pulling

When you say it's easy to learn the basics
And they say "someone's boasting".
When you rant to yourself so loud.
But you shout it to them quietly.

When I thought I am loved by the gestures.
When I feel for your words assured.
I know behind your actions there is a feeling hiding.
The feeling of betrayal and plasticity.

Like how I feel the thickness of a glue.
The same how I feel about you.
The more content, the stickier the glue is.
Like how I have more things, you hold me better.

Then I compare you to a can.
Louder it is, when it's empty.
Like how you treat me behind my back.
When the things you want, I lack.

How you say it to others, the way you feel about me.
How they know you are lying, how true to you they see.
I know that all things will come to end.
I'm everybody's friend, but nobody's best friend.
