Why are people so rude? Why do people have to be so un thoughtful? Do people gain anything from it?
Honk honk!! I jolt straight up and look wildly at my surroundings. I see a car honking at the car telling it to move. I slowly stand up and stretch my aching muscles. I look up and sigh seeing the empty alley brings back some un wanted memories.
I shake my head trying to get rid of my thoughts. I look down and pick up my book bag. I sling it on my shoulder and start walking. Taking deep breaths trying to wake up more quickly.
I look down and see the worn down sidewalk. It has cracks in it and rubble. I keep walking not wanting to be in this area. There is old and run down buildings. With drug addicts and hookers. There's also just this eerie feel to it.
Looking up I see a bus stop. I go over and sit on the rusted old bench. I lay back and look at the sky. It's so beautiful with the sun barely on the horizon. With pink and a little bit of orange in the sky. I smile to myself.
"Hey miss you coming in?" I look back towards where the voice was from. "Oh ya sorry about that." I get up and walk up the busses steps. "Does it cost anything."
"It costs a quarter he says with a grunt."
I open my bag and dig through it. pulling my hand back I slide the coin in the jar. I buckle my bag up carefully while moving to the back of the bus.
I find a seat and sit down making sure no one will sit by me. I sit back and lay
my hands cris crossed over my chest. I look around me and see a young man sitting two seats in front of me. He has blonde hair and is humming.
I check to see if there's any one else I need to be aware of just in case. But there's only one other, and he is an elderly person.
I look back at the guy two seats in front of me but he hasn't moved since last time I checked. I still stay alarmed but don't move a muscle.
The bus is moving finally. I see the guy is still humming and it's really starting to get on my nerves a bit. "Excuse me."
"Huh the guy says while turning around to look at me."
"Can you please stop humming and tell me what time it is I say as politely as I can?"
"Oh sorry and it's 7:00 pretty lady."
"Well thanks I say with an annoyed tone." I look back down at my hands and see them trembling. I clench my fists and take a deep breath.
"There's no need to be annoyed I just want to chit chat that's all."
I already know where this is headed. I can feel it. Why are people so disturbing and just wrong? I look back up at him and clear my throat.
"I already chit chatted with you what more do you think your going to get from me I say clearly annoyed?"
"Hmm he says while rubbing his chin with his index finger and thumb."
"You probably have more girls to flirt with and that are so much more hotter than me I say politely trying to get him off my back."
"I don't think so you are just what I need he says with his husky voice."
I look in his eyes and can tell that he is being dead serious. I look up at the street to see if we are there yet. Which were not just my luck. "Sorry but does that line even work because if it does than the girls are definitely more desperate and dumber than you I say seriously."
He looks taken aback and than furious. "Take it back he says with full venom in his voice."
"Ok fine I say while sitting up and my hands are in my lap." I just sit there like that for a couple of seconds waiting for the perv to say something.
"Well where's my apology?"
"Oh I say with innocence it's up your butt." I look up and see that the bus has stopped. I move my hands from my lap and sit even straighter and get more alarmed as more people are getting on.
Turning my head back I see his anger is fuming. The bus is beginning to get filled up. I bolt up and walk down the isle as quick and fast as I possibly can without any attention getting drawn to myself.
I walk past the blonde dude that was in front of me and see him trying to get up but being pushed down by some guy. I run and skip the steps trying to get as far as I can. I don't even care if I don't know where I'm going. All I know is I don't like big crowds in one space. It gets me flustered and to not be able to keep track of everyone's movements. Plus that perv was there...
