I began to lead them around camp, showing them all of the basics like the den and Highrock. Thankfully my friends did most of the talking while I just stayed to the side, just wishing for this to be over. Question upon question was asked, both from the humans and my friends. Raye asked what kind of technology they had, Skop wondered if the sports and fights were good, Jasper asked about everything that came to his head, and Mika just wondered how nice the place they lived was.

"Its a huge city." Starfire describes. "With tall building and many people to talk to."

"How many people?" Jasper asked.

"Over thousands." Cyborg answered, gesturing with his hands. "Maybe over 100,000."

Mika seemed stunned at the fact. "We have maybe 3,000 wolves here." She tries to count in her head. "If even that."

I cringe as another piece of information slipped to the humans. Who knows what they could do with all the knowledge we were just giving away.

"Averi." Raye suddenly acknowledges me. "Are you going to ask anything during this, to are just gonna walk to the side with that scowl on your face?"

I just growled. "I've got better things to do than padding around, followed by a bunch of Earthlings and showing them around a place they won't even stay at anyways."

"Someone's bitter." I hear Raven, who seemed to have a smart comment for everything, say.

My anger had reached its breaking point. By that time we were behind the tree line, so before I could waste any second, I swiftly kick out and trip the closest one to the ground, which happened to be Beastboy. Before anyone else could act, I wrap my arm around his neck and place my hand on his head, ready to twist at any second.

They all advance but I never backed down. "One more step and his neck breaks." I threaten.

"Please." Robin begs, his eyes filled with dread. "We never did anything to you."

I was about to reply, but I suddenly hear a voice behind me. "Averi." The wolf barks, his voice ringing in my ears. "Let him go."

Giving my eyes a sharp roll, I turn and see Shaman, standing on a rock a small ways off, his gaze fixed with mine. It was a look I had seen thousands of times before in situations like this, a look at pretty much dared me to define his order.

I may have been ruthless, but I knew better than to question my mentor.

So slowly, I released my grip and Beastboy falls to the ground with a thud, gasping for breath and frantically rubbing his neck like he was making sure it was still in one piece.

I straighten as Shamon jumps down and comes closer to the group. "Now listen" He says to me, even though he knew I wouldn't care. "I know nothing would make you more happier than to watch them die, but that is not how it will end today. I must warn you about your actions, young one, because they are creating more and more negative energy to feed off of."

"Negative energy." Robin asked. "What do you mean."

"Something that does not concern you." I snapped, a small covering my face

I feel the Shamons tail on my shoulder and I was forced to back down, no matter how much it made my stomach churn. "Forgive my apprentice." He says to the humans. "She has a hard time controlling her temper."

"We didn't mean to offend her." Robin apologizes.

My tail twitched behind me. "Its not my fault."

I hear a long sigh beside me. "You can't blame everything on the demon Averi." Shaman scolds, but when a low growl escapes my throat, I knew it was too late.
