Chapter 3

Chapter 3: 'Where am I? God that sounds stupid. Am I dead? I feel dead. Hey is that light? It's so pretty~!' My dream/mind/possibly dead self wondered. I walk/floated/whatever over to the light. A tall man stepped out. 'Are you the devil?'

'No child.' Was what he said/thought/IDK!!!

'Am I dead?'

'No child.'

'Why do you keep calling me "child?"' I asked.

'Compared to me, you are.'

'Who are you?'

'You don't know me, but you've heard of me. I am Slenderman.'

'Slenderman?' I tilted my head. 'That guy that lives in the woods and kills people?' He nodded. 'COOL!'

'Liu was right, you are a strange one.'

'Liu? Liu, Liu, LIU!' I panicked. 'Oh my god, I have to go back, Luna, Mama and Papa, Henry, and Liu are wanting for me! I have to go! Nice to see you Mr. Slendy!' I turned and ran away from him, though surprisingly, even though I knew all the stories, I wasn't scared of him. 'See you later, Slendy!'

'Goodbye, child. Til next time.'

'Ok, Katie, when you get back, rise up from the bed and say, "I am ALIVE!!"' I thought to myself, smiling. 'Here we go!'

I opened my eyes. I was in a hospital bed, my family around me. What I thought, 'I am ALIVE!!'. What I said, "Ow."

"Katie? Katie, you're ok!" Mama cried, tears of joy streaming down her face. She grabbed me and hugged me.

Papa joined her. "Sissy! I knew it! I knew you wouldn't leave me!" My sweet Luna cried happily. Henry patted my hand, tears falling from his eyes. I smiled weakly.

"Water?" I croaked out. They gave me a cup. Then the nurse came in and said that I needed rest. They nodded and left me in peace. I feel asleep. Slenderman meet me every now and then, telling me about his house. I wanted to see it but he said no.

After a couple of days, they let me out. "I'm FREE!" I cried, throwing my arms wide.

"Be careful!" Mama called to me.

"I am" I shouted back. We went home and everyone waited on me hand and foot but I wanted to talk to Liu. I wanted to thank him for helping me, and I wanted to ask him about Slenderman.

Finally they let me go to the park. I waited hoping Liu would come, though I had no way of communicating with him. After a hour, I stood to leave.

"You came?"

I smiled, turning. There stood Liu, in the same shirt scarf and jacket. "Of course! I wanted to thank you for helping me. And I wanted to ask about Slenderman."

"You saw Slenderman?" He looked startled.

"Yeah, he sees me every now and then. When I sleep." I frowned. "So, you're Liu? A creepypasta?"

"A what?" He looked at me.

"A creepypasta. You know, what you are. It's the characters in scary fan fictions. You, Slenderman, and Jeff are some." I explained.

"Oh, I guess I am a creepypasta." He replied. "Hey I was wondering if you wanted to come over to our house some-"

"SISSY! PAPA WANTS YOU!" Luna called on her bike. "Says we leven soon!"

"But we just got here!" I shouted back.

"That's wa Papa said!"

"Fine I'm coming!" I called. I turned towards Liu. "Yeah, I'd love to come over to your house! But I have to go bye!"
