Chapter 4

'I'm here AGAIN?! WHY?!' I cried out. I looked around. Yep, same grey, black area, same weird light too. 'Slendy, that you?' I called.

'Child you must awaken.' He said, stepping from the light.

'Why? I have no one, my house is probably gone, and I'll be shipped to a orphanage soon, so WHY?!' I shouted at him.

'Because of your sister, think of her, alone in a orphanage, cold, wondering why her sister left her alone.' Was his reply.

'LUNA! Thanks for the prep talk Mr. Slenderman!' I turned to run. 'Wait, what about our home?'

'I shall take you both in. It is the least I can do, since one of my own cause this whole mess.'

'Thank's Slendy, hey, where's Liu? I have to kill him for killing my family.' I asked him.

'I was hoping you could tell me, Miss Katie. It seems that Liu has left the Manor and stuck out on his own. We will discuss this in more depth when I come to get you but for now, wake up.' He walked away., and I ran away as well.

I opened my eyes. Again the hospital bed and room. Everything was the same, but Luna now sat in the chair next to me. I tried to sit up, but a I.V. tube stopped me. I looked around a bit, but couldn't see out of my left eye. I pushed the button for the nurse.

A plump kind looking woman came inside, baring white box, with the same color green bow as Liu's eyes. 'Liu.' I thought, heart pumping loudly in my ears. The heart monitor started to beat faster. "Calm down sweetheart, you're in good hands. Can you tell me your name?" She placed the box on the counter. I nodded.

"My name is Katie Velena Silver. I was born on July 10, 1997. My sign is Cancer. Anything else?" I asked her. She smiled at me.

"Sissy? Sissy!" Luna cried hugging me tight. I winced as she pushed on my wounds.

The nurse, Debbie, smiled at her. "Sweetheart, your sister needs to rest, can you let go please?" Luna nodded, releasing me but still holding my hand. "Now I just need to check your vitals then we'll see what happens, kay?" We nodded.

After she was done, I asked Lulu for the box. It said To: Katie From: Liu I figured you would need a way of hiding your scar, sorry! Love, Liu XXOOXXOO

I ripped up the letter and ate the shreds to hide the evidence. Pulling oven the bow, I pulled off the lid. Inside was a light blue cat mask, with holes in the shape of cat eyes for my eyes. I picked it up. I hated to admit it, it was beautiful. Handing it to Luna, I found a black cloak with hood. And there was a white button blouse, with matching grey pants and shorts. Nestled in the bottom, was a dagger sheath. I too it out and drew the blade. The beautifully carved dagger glistened in the light. I sheathed it and placed it back inside.

I carefully put everything away and hid it under my bed. I placed a finger to my lips, telling Luna to to tell anyone about it. She nodded. Just in time, Debbie came inside. "You're very lucky, your eye healed wonderfully, so you should be able to see out of it when we take the bandages off, which will be in a few days. Then we can let you go. I'm sorry but you'll both have to go to a orphanage." She did look sorry. She checked my vitals again and left.

I told Luna about Slenderman's promise. She looked happy. We rested, building our strength.

A few days later, they took of the bandages. I dashed to the bathroom, looking at myself. I had a scar from the top of my eyebrow to my cheek. My eye color had changed too. It was red, probably from all of the blood dripping into it. Debbie was right though, I could see perfectly, 20/20 vision. I came back outside. Debbie gasped and the doctor scribbled on his pad. Luna stared at me. I was afraid she was scared of me, but she said, "Sissy, you look awesome! You look like Kakashi sensei!"(I love Naruto XD!!)

The doctor and nurse looked at me as I laughed, and a few weeks later they let us out. The night before we were due to go to the orphanage, Slenderman told me to come to the woods. I got dressed in the clothes Liu gave me, including the mask, and shook Luna awake. She was up and ready in a minute. I placed the dagger, still in its sheath in one of my belt loops, and opened the door. We ran quietly through the hallways, and darted to the cafeteria. We took some water, and protein bars. Then we dashed out, heading towards the woods.

We walked into the woods, looking for Slenderman. Suddenly static noise filled our ears. We turned, and I drew my dagger. Slenderman stood a few feet away from us. I relaxed and walked towards him, holding Luna's hand. Slenderman held out his hand, and Luna grasped it. He picked her up and took my own hand, before leading us away. One second we were there, then next, we were gone.
