Soon after he texted me, Eren showed up at my door.
"Come in!" I yelled, still sitting on the couch with Levi.
When Eren stepped in, he glared at Levi.
"Well, I'm gonna go. See you later?"
Levi asked, and I just nodded.
He grabbed his jacket and his keys and headed out the door. His shoulder hitting Eren in the process.
"Why was he here?" Eren asked with a sassy tone.
"Eren, I need to talk to you." I said, and his eyes lit up with excitement.
"Y-y/n, I need to talk to you, too. Actually, that's why I came right now."
He walked over to the couch and sat down next to me, staring straight at his face.
"Uh, you can go first. I guess..." I said awkwardly, avoiding eye contact.
"Why don't we say it at the same time?"
"Sure, why not?" I agreed.
"Three, two, one," Eren counted down.
"Levi and I are dating."
"I love you- wait what?!"
Eren yelled, and I flinched at his words.
"Levi and I are dating..."
I repeated, and his face sank. He put his head down, but then shot back up. There were tears in his eyes, and he said,
"That's great. I'm glad you're happy."
"Eren, please don't cry. If you cry I'm gonna cry and I don't know why you're crying but I really don't want you to cry." I rambled, and he chuckled.
"I'm not crying, don't worry. I just thought that you loved me and not him. It's okay though, I understand. Like I said, I'm just glad you're happy."
He gave me a genuine smile and a tear streamed down his face. I launched at him and wrapped my arms around him.
"E-Eren, I don't know how I feel. I've been having mixed feelings about everything and I just don't know what to think about you or Levi. Every time I'm near you, my hear flutters. But, when I'm with Levi, my heart races and I just don't know how I feel about anything. I'm so sorry, I've messed with your feelings. It's all my fault your crying. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." I said, my arms still around him. He wrapped his arms around me, and pulled me closer to him.
"I still love you." He whispered, and my eyes widened.
