Link's p.o.v

I don't know why I'm so nervous when I went with the other girls I was perfectly fine but now that I'm going with y/n I feel ill, my head hurts and most importantly I stutter whenever I talk to her whats wrong with me?

While I was thinking I was fixing my tie I certainly didn't like this time I thought it was to hmm... whats the word I'm looking for? ..... ah yes its ugly

It's been five minute's now and pit has been standing in front of that full body mirror the whole time

"Uh do you need some help there pit?"I asked "No I'm fine but thanks for asking" he said while trying to tie his bow "ok I'll see you later then I gotta go pick up y/n" i said while putting a hand on the door knob "wait! I kinda do need help with my bow" "why didn't you just say that in the first place?" "Well I kinda wanted to try to do it for once this time"

"You can practice on your own time but" I started while I finished tieing my bow "for now we gotta get going since it's ten minutes before seven" I finshed while opening the door

"What really?! Then I gotta get going" he said while jogging out the door

"Hmm must be In a real hurry to go get wft"i mumbled to myself

There was only three minutes till seven and I was trying to hurry until I bumped into someone

"Oh I'm so sorry" I said while the person helped me up "oh it's alright I would think you would be in a hurry you don't want to be keeping a girl waiting" marth said "oh it's you marth I thought you were someome else" "yeah but maybe we should get going 'cause there's about 1 minute till seven" "yeah lets go" I said while practically running to there room

It was seven o three we were late but I just hope they weren't worried

After we caught are breath from running for so long I knocked on the door I heard some shuffling around and then lucina opened the door.

She was in a knee high dark purple dress it had a strap on the right side along with a little clip that was shaped like her family symble and a silver belt

Y/n was in a beautiful long blue dress it had no straps silver lining around the top and a silver belt just above the waist both of them looked very beautiful

"Shall we go my lady" marth said holding out his hand and bowing to lucina hmm maybe I should try to be a gentleman "why yes prince marth" lucina said while she took his hand and they left

I wasn't sure what to do since I haven't been so formal with anyone before "it will be a pleasure to escort you to the dance my lady" I said while I stuck out my arm I think I might have over did it to my relief she just giggled then took my arm and we left (you know the way dad's escort there daughter down the isle when she gets married so yeah that's what there doing)

Y/n's p.o.v starting from seven

I was waiting to hear a knock at the door but two minute's later
I was starting to get worried because I was thinking they weren't going to come

Lucina must have seen this because she just laughed and said "Don't be so worried y/n their going to come they just must be running late and it doesn't matter since we have till seven thirty till It starts" she said in a reassuring voice while putting a hand on my back "ok" was all I could say

Then I heard a knock at the door "see" luci said

Lucina got up and opened the door I followed her and when she opened it I saw marth and link standing there in tuxedo's

Marth was in a sort of prince tuxedo it was white with gold colored buttons on it the shirt was lined all around with the color gold

Link's tuxedo was really casual he wore a light blue undershirt, a black coat over it black pants, black gloves and a very ....... interesting tie

"Shall we go my lady" marth said holding out his hand and bowing to lucina "why yes prince marth" lucina said in the most formal way possible she took his hand and they left

And link he looked as if he was lost in thought then he said"it will be a pleasure to escort you to the dance my lady" he said while sticking out his arm I thought it was cute of how he tried to be so formal so i giggled then I just took his arm and we left

When we got to the dance I could see all the couples there (name any couples you want) they were all so cute together

Everything was layed out so formally like this wasn't like any normal dance it's sort of like a ball then a dance all the tables were round with four seats on them the tables were on the outside all in a circle around the dance floor

I am really surprised of how they can change the main room from having all chairs and a stage to this so formal the stage was still there probably for the dj to play the music

it makes me wonder if there going to play classy music or music from the 2000's cause I actually wanna have fun and not having to listen to old people music

The dance started at seven but they didn't play music till seven thirty so that everyone would be there

We sat at just a random table a couple minute's later zelda and shulk came to sit with us

"Hey zelly and shulk how's it going?" You said while waving and giving a warm smile "oh it's great so far I love having are monthly dance it's always so fun I hope someday you'll love it as much as I do y/n" "me to zelly .... and shulk how are you" "its working out pretty good actually" he said in a british accent "how about you two?" zelly asked

"I'm excited for tonight I bet it's going to be fun" I said excitedly "I'm looking forward to it also" link said

After three hours of sitting at the table talking I was getting kinda bored but then I noticed link was looking out the window then he turned to me

"Y/n you wanna go somewhere?" he asked "uh ok sure" he got up and took my hand

He put a blind fold around my eyes we didn't walk very far 'cause I can still faintly hear the music then he took off my blindfold

When I opened my eye's we were in front of a lake with the moonlight shining over it. It was so beautiful I was speechless because I have never seen anything so beautiful then link tapped me on the shoulder

I turned around amd he pointed at the ground there was a blanket on the ground I have no idea when he grabbed that but oh well I sat down

I was looking out over the lake (yes some of this seems familiar from pits rooftop look over but that doesn't exist since this is links but I promise you this is leading somewhere ...... and don't think that way it's not going to be that) while link was gazing up at the sky he said "the stars are so clear tonight"

"Yeah it's not blocked by clouds tonight" I said gazing up at the sky we layed down and gazed up at the sky

We layed there for a couple more minutes then I heard a familiar song called I won't give up by jason mraz I'm guessing link heard it two since he sat up then stood up and said would you like to dance

I sat up and I said "yes" I held out my hand he took it and helped me up

We danced under the stars with the music playing faintly in the background

This was a very traditional date

A/N its very traditional because star gazing and sitting in front of a lake over a moon go's down in history but yeah the moon over the lake is very much like pit's 'rooftop look over' but it's different your in front of the lake your dancing star gazing yeah all that so I hope you liked it ~ jeniffer
