Make him remember me again ~ Luke Hemmings

Chapter 3

{A/N}

Some of this chapter is in flashbacks. So just a heads up.

Michael

"Luke come and pick the pizzas up with me. I don't want to go alone" I pout at the younger boy to try and convince him, he looks up from his phone

"Michael I don't want to come I'm comfortable here" he grew more frustrated with me as I kept asking. The truth was I don't like driving or driving by myself, so I really want to bring Luke along because Remy wasn't around to come with me

"Please Luke, Ashton and Calum are playing fifa and I can't get them off it" He looks up at me and sighs getting up off the love seat

"Fine but hurry up" I mentally celebrate in my head as I grab the keys to my car. As I walk outside I feel the Spring breeze against my pale complexion. I start pulling out of the driveway when Luke puts on the radio, he turns it up when he hears Green Day. he sinks back into his chair and starts singing along

'Don't want to be an American idiot'

We pull up to a red right which turns green many seconds after, as I'm driving through the light I see headlights coming towards us from Luke's side not thinking much of it I return my gaze back to the road that instant I knew something bad was going to happen.

The boy beside me looked out his window and all of a sudden he yells

"MICHAEL LOOK OUT!" but it was too late. The car had already crashed into the passenger side causing my car to spin into the pole next to the road.

There was an eminence amount of pain shooting through my leg and torso. Looking to my left I see the blonde boy bleeding from his head, I try to call out to him but nothing came out. Then everything turns black.

I wake up in a pool of my own sweat and tears, my mother instantly rushes to my side 

"Mike, hunny what happened? Do you want me to get a doctor?" she asked worriedly

"No I'm fine just had some bad memories from that night. I was the cause of this, if I didn't want to get pizza none of this would have happened. He would still be alive and be remembering thing like he normally did. I ruined him" I start fully sobbing when my mum envelops me in a massive hug

"No no no baby you didn't do this to him the driver did, he ran right into you" she says wiping my tears "Oh and I got a call from Remy, her, Cal and I think Ash are coming to see you"

I smile to myself when I hear the names of my two best friends and my girlfriend. I am lucky to be surrounded by people who love me.

As I pull up to Calum's house I see his tall figure leading over with his head in his hands, unbuckling my seatbelt as fast as I rush up to the tan boy who reaches over to grab what looks like a bag of luggage.

"Cal, whats wrong?" I ask as soon as I reach him

"M-mum told me I can't stay here. I-I punched the wall and trashed my room last night. S-she told me to leave" he kept stuttering his words trying to calm himself down. I look at his knuckles that are all battered up.

"You can stay at my house for the time being, my dad wont mind" and that was the truth, ever since my mum died dad wanted more company that ever "he'd love company"

"Are you sure that he wont mind?" he ask double checking. I look at the kiwi and smile

"I'm positive"

The drive to the hospital was silence but not an awkward silence just nice and comfortable until the boy beside me chirps up

"Is he okay?" he ask carefully. I'm guessing when he says 'he' automaticaly I think Luke

"Luke?" I look over to him for approval he just nods "He is alive and breathing, but he can't remember me I don't know if he will remember any of you boys but he doesn't remember me and I've known him for 11 years"

"I hope he remembers me I don't want to lose my best friend" I smile sadly

"Neither do I Cal"

I wanted to write more this chapter so I added a flashback at the start to kinda say how the accident happened. Once again this is my first wattpad book, so please nice comments. Thanks
