The light as I open my eyes burns, I have no idea what is happening. As look around I hear sniffles in the corner
"Who are you?" I say to this girl
"W-What?" she asks in shock
"I said who are you?" she looks at me with wide eyes " I'm Remy, your best friend" she looks at me with big red puffy eyes "Your kidding me aren't you Luke, you know who I am stop playing around this isn't funny any more don't do this to me, please tell me your lying" she pleads
"I don't know a Remy, my best friend is Hudson Where is he tell him I want to see him"
"Luke, Hudson died last year he isn't coming back" Remy said getting more tears in her eyes. Hang on my mum, where is she?
"No he didn't he is still alive. Do you know where my mum is?" I start feeling a bit awkward, I've barely known this girl 10 minutes and I already look like a wimp in front of her
"She went to get a doc-" She is cut of by a elderly man followed in by my mother who also has puffy eyes
"Hello Luke, I'm doctor Brown. I'm jut here to run some test if that's okay?" he says in a kind, caring matter "Can you tell me your full name?"
"Lu-Luke Robert Hemmings" I say slipping up a bit " Well done, now what is your date of birth?"
"July 16th 1996" I turn to my mum for encouragement but she's too busy flicking her eyes around the room nervously
"Last question, what's the date today?"
"November 23rd 2012" I say feeling really proud of myself for answering all the questions
"Luke, you realize that is not the date, the date is February 4th 2015" the doctor states with a concerned look on his face. He turns to my mum and Remy
"Ms Hemmings I'm afraid to tell you, your son has got amnesia. I cant be certain if its long term or short term but we will run more tests and figure it out from there, I'm terribly sorry."
