Lance woke up the next day with Annik cuddling him. It freaked him out a little, this was the closest theyd ever been. But he enjoyed the cuddle until she woke up. They ate, they prepared to go, and they set on their way to Tardis. They were about to meet the Emperor of Nassera. Annik spotted the imperial city accross the mountains first and stopped on her tracks. The city was a very futuristic place in that time. They had vehicles that flew around. It was a compleatly different world. It reminded Annik how poor she really was.
"Must be nice..." said Annik with a sigh, "to think all this exists and we are still living in wooden cottages". "How much you have doesnt mean youre better or worse than anyone" said lance, "what matters is that you have a kind heart". Annik smiled, "Come on" she said, "lets get going". They walked around the road and Tardis zeemed much further away than they thought. The city was very big for a kingdom. They crossed a river and kept on moving through the road.
When they reached the giant blue gate, they couldnt keep their eyes off it. The gate was pure steel and had lights in the middle. It was about 20 meters tall. The guards, who had actual guns and futuristic armor greeted them. "Welcome to tardis" the guard said "the city of the empire, the city of the future".nthey went on in and suddenly it was truly another world. The people wore clothes very different from the ones in the other kingdoms. They were always in a hurry, yet organized while walking. The flying vehicles powered by magic were what got the most attention from Annik and lance.
They walked by the tall buildings that looked like giant mirrors. They were nearing the castle. This city was prkgressing at an alarming rate it seemed impossible. Lance went to one of the vendors and bought an apple. Annik stared at him. "You really love apples dont you?" She asked. "Of course" he said, "they are good for you, and they taste good" Annik grabbed his arm and continjed walking. They were close to the emperor's place.
Lance was still eating his apple. Annik was amazed by the beauty of the whole city. They kept on walking and finally reached the emperor's building. It was a very tall tower that touched the clouds. There were huge floating islands around it. "Wow" said lance "this one is huge!". "Yes" said Annik "id like to see inside of it now". They both went in quickly and they were even more amazed. There were mechanical screens around the place giving information to people.
Lance went to on that told where to find the emperor. They took the elevator to tye last floor and waited with some bad elevator music. Once on the last floor they walked up to the emperor's secretary. "We would like to see tye emperor" said Lance. "And who might you be?" Asked the secretary. "We were sent by the king to protect the emperor" Said Annik. "And wy shouldi believe you?" Said the secretary. "Maybe we weren't clear enough" said Lance pulling out the hammer of the gods "we came here to protect the emperor". The secretary looked nervous, "yes of course, go right on in" she said. "Thank you" said Lance. And they walked to the emperors throne room.
