The day after...
"SHANEN!!!" I scream.
"Yes, Cherelle?" she replies.
"Zulaiqhah's waiting for us downstairs. Come on, let's GO!"
"WAIT! I need to take my wallet, geez!" she says, running to her desk.
That's when Daniel comes to me.
"I need to talk. With you." he says.
"Uhmm, why?" I ask, faking that I don't know anything just to NOT get into trouble.
He whispers to me with a gentle voice. "Why did you do that?"
"Oh my lord. Can we not talk about it here?" I whisper back.
Shanen was looking at me.
"You know what Daniel? It was an accident, okay? Teresa pushed me. I pushed you. So if you need anyone to blame, go blame Teresa, okay?"
Daniel rolls his eyes to me and walks away.
Shanen comes to me saying "Uhm, is Daniel your friend?"
"Not really." I say, to make sure she wasn't going to question me so much.
"Ugh. Whatever. Let's go to the canteen. I'M HUNGRYYYY!" she says.
She pulls me down the stairs violently, and I thought I was going to fall and die.
" SHANEN CALM DOWN!" I exclaim.
"IM REALLY HUNGRY!" she says.
We found Zulaiqhah sitting down in our usual seats.
"WHAT TOOK YOU GUYS SO LONG? I ALREADY FINISHED EATING MY NOODLES!" she says.
"Shanen, since you're SO hungry, go buy some food to-"
I turned and she was gone.
"She's pissed. And hungry." I say.
"WHAT?!??! DID YOU TELL-"
"NO! I didn't! Daniel was just questioning me by whispering and she got jealous!"
"That idiot Teresa. It's all her fault."
"Yea, apparently she 'forgot' that Shanen likes Daniel."
"Yea right, such a faker."
Shanen came back with a plate of with fried rice, fried chicken, eggs, fries and nuggets.
"That's a shit load of food." I say.
I sit her down next to me as she bites her lip. Continuously.
"What are you doing?" asked Zulaiqhah, weirded out.
I pointed out to the field.
"Damn." Zulaiqhah says.
Daniel, Henry, Ethan, Ah Chua, Jonathan and Aubert were playing soccer.
To be honest, Daniel was pretty good.
"Hey Shanen, I need to ask you something important." I say.
"Hmm? What do you wanna ask??"
"Do you, think, Daniel is attractive?"
"Uhmm, yeah."
Wow. She admit it.
