How the dinner went

It was Thursday night and I was beginning to get ready for the dinner with James and my mom. This is the first time that im meeting him and I'm not nervous at all. But my mom on the other hand....

"Honey make sure your tie is on right" she said coming to fix it
"Jeez mom you must really like this guy" I said to her
"Yeah honey I like him a lot" she said while fixing the tie

I went to my phone after my mom was done and checked my it. Still no text from him. I was beginning to wonder what was the whole point of that weekend. Why was I so stupid. I should've known all he wanted was sex from me.

My mom came in the kitchen and when I saw her outfit completely done I was speechless. "Wow mom looking good"

"Really? You don't think its too much?" she asked
"No he's gonna love it"

It was finally time to leave and I was SO happy because I'm so hungry. It wasn't really a long ride to the restaurant, but when we pulled up my jaw dropped and I couldn't believe where it was at.

All stars. The most expensive restaurant in town. The food- delicious. I don't know that personally but I've heard about the food.

"Mom how can we afford this?" I asked. Before she could respond to me a young man with a white dress shirt, red vest, and black slacks came up and asked to take the keys for val-air.

As we started walking inside my mom said "look I know this is strange but James is paying for all of this"
"What is he rich?" I asked
"Uhm.. Yes" and I gave her a shocking look "also your meeting his son tonight"
"Mo-" before I can say anything to her a man dressed in a black suit and blue tie came up to us

"You must be Leo" he said sticking his hand out to shake
"And I'm guessing your James" I said
"Your mom has told me so much about you" he said smiling a little
"I can't say the same" I said with a bit of sarcasm, my mom hit me in on the side
"Why don't we go to our table" he said.

As I was walking in the back of James and my mom I noticed how when  they looked at each other it was like they were communicating. With the small glances, smirks, and smiles. I guess I van give this guy a chance.
We got to the table and I didn't see his son. I picked up the menu and started to skim through it while making small talk with james and my mom.

As I was deciding to see what I wanted to eat, cause let's face it there was so many amazing options. I heard a deep voice. A familiar voice.

"Dad you would never guess who I just saw"  the voice said coming closer
"Eh son meet Leo, Leo Nick"

We made eye contact. This can't be happening. This can not. Be happening.

Flashback 4 years ago: Freshman year
"Okay class of 2016, welcome to high school.
